Logistics Specialist
The Opportunity:
As a logistics specialist, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand government systems and material specifications and know that planning, developing, and executing product support strategies is critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We are looking for a logistics specialist like you to apply your product lifecycle support expertise to develop tools for a program office. Using your knowledge in life cycle logistics, system sustainment, and product support, you’ll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment of the program through the acquisition lifecycle.
As a logistics specialist on our team, you’ll provide expertise in Integrated Product Support elements such as Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T), Product Support Management, or Supply Support. You’ll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with complex integrated systems and understanding of material specifications and government or contractor material is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions. In this role, you’ll use your engineering logistics and materials expertise to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You’ll partner with senior team members and apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution. Use your curiosity and solution-oriented mindset to lead mission-critical engineering logistics for the team.

You Have:
- 7+ years of experience with integrated logistics support
- Experience supporting Navy or NAVSEA logistics operations
- Experience with large logistics or program management organizations
- Experience with logistics ordering and tracking systems such as NAVLOG, FEDLOG, Haystack, WebFLIS, or One Touch
- Experience with technical writing or guidance for logistics operations
- Knowledge of Integrated Product Support Topics such as PHS&T, Product Support such as Configuration Management or Performance Based Life Cycle support, or Supply Support such as Cataloging, provisioning, Readiness Based Sparing, or SM&R Codes
- Ability to record technically complex topics
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Navy Procurement Processes
- Experience with a military systems command or DoD logistics operations
- Experience with Requisition and Invoice Documentation, including DD1149
- Experience with Navy Submarine Programs
- Knowledge of Logiquest TerraBase tools such as Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment, OMIS, or DMSMS
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Possession of excellent organizational skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree
- American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
