We are seeking a Sales Executive, Discovery Sciences to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business as a remote position.

As a Sales Executive, Discovery Sciences, you will be securing and retaining business through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and new sponsors.

What you’ll be doing:

Actively prospecting and leveraging potential new business opportunities within specified customer account(s) including emerging biotech and pharma.
Cultivating strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within account and developing in-depth knowledge of the customer organization.
Maintaining general knowledge of all IQVIA services for appropriate cross-sell opportunities.
Aggressively pursuing awareness of competitive activities, positioning and pricing, which includes specific reasons for awards and non-awards.
Analyzing potential opportunities and developing sales plans for each target account; ensuring appropriate strategy/solution is proposed to customer; monitoring actions and results against plans.
Coordinating with contracts and proposals to develop proposal.
Collaborating with operations and functional managers to lead sales presentations and handling sales follow-ups.
Planning and recording all customer sales activities in the CRM system; preparing sales activity reports for Sales Management as required.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree
12 years related experience, including 5 years of relevant industry (CRO/Pharmaceutical) and/or sales experience required.
5 years of drug discovery experience (commercially or scientifically), large molecule/biotherapeutic experience desired
Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Required.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

Proven track record at mid-level and high-level contacts.
Excellent Business/Industry awareness and a thorough understanding of industry trends and impact on the business.
Solid understanding of commercialization and the principles of drug discovery and development.
Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $133,000.00 - $226,200.00. As the Manager, Project Services Set Up, you will be providing day-to-day direction of staff and manage the Client Delivery Team to achieve client and company goals and/or initiatives. You will be supporting direct reports and drive continuous improvement in processes and procedures used by the project team.

What you’ll be doing:

Providing day-to-day direction of staff.
Managing the Client Delivery Team.
Supporting different groups.
Initiating improvements in processes and procedures.
Performing duties and responsibilities of Project Manager if/when needed.
Leading complex project-level activities.
Mentoring, training, developing, managing, and disciplining employees.
Developing techniques to ensure customer satisfaction.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree Life Sciences and/or related field. Preferred
Minimum 4 years of experience in clinical trials/ hospital-funded research, project management or laboratory environment. Preferred

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and client management skills.

Strong verbal/written communication skill including good command of English language. Bilingual with reasonable proficiency in English is preferred.

As an Immunoassay Scientist, you will execute laboratory experiments with precision, contribute innovatively to scientific procedure design, and uphold the highest standards of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for our clients. You’ll not only set up and conduct experiments but also manage laboratory equipment, ensuring protocols are meticulously followed under the guidance of a dedicated lab services manager, researcher, or scientist.

What you’ll be doing:

Executing ELISAs, RIAs, and other immunoassay techniques in a BSL2 lab with precision and innovation.
Learning required laboratory techniques under the guidance of the project leader.
Performing assays and handling sample accessioning according to SOP using LIMS system.
Analyzing data, uploading results to LIMS system, and preparing stock buffers.
Prepare working solutions/standards and QC samples; aliquot standards, controls, and other reagents as needed.
Dispensing proprietary/commercial compounds for reference material preparation and documenting all project work in laboratory notebooks according to Quintiles and GLP procedures.
Reviewing run binders, notebooks, assisting in SOP modifications, adapting to program changes efficiently ensuring quality data production adhering to timelines.
Ordering and stocking laboratory supplies; maintaining MSDS chemical inventory as well as calibration certifications and CoA files while inspecting instruments routinely.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field.
1 year of related experience.
Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in GLP laboratory environment.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

Technical expertise in serological immunoassay techniques, instrumentation, sample handling and preparation, data analysis, and key areas of cell-culture and cell-based immunoassays.
Proficiency in maintaining long-term culture, clear method development documentation, assisting with cell-based assays development, and precise processing of client samples while adhering to GLP requirements.
Ability to follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), scientific directions within a team environment, and verbally communicated or draft procedures.
Experienced in all routine laboratory procedures with an understanding of methodology development/validation; possesses excellent attention to detail and communication skills for effective collaboration.

You will be performing senior review of all types of medical writing deliverables, acting as Lead Medical Writer on any type of writing project, and

keeping abreast of current medical and/or technical writing/regulatory knowledge, including Good Clinical Practices (GCP), along with developments and advances in drug development/medical and/or technical writing.

What you’ll be doing:

Managing performance of direct reports.
Proposing, reviewing, and approving budgets and assumptions for a range of project types within remit.
Having initial contact with customers on new projects, before a writer is assigned, or to support a direct report.
Initiating to tackle and advise others on new/unusual document types and customer requirements.
Participating in bid defense meetings and discussions.
Taking on a project management role for projects involving Medical Writing.
Preparing assigned documents, including, but not limited to, confirming the scope of the task, confirming templates and specifications, negotiating, and adhering to timelines, organizing document reviews, communicating directly with the customer, and monitoring and forecasting project budgets.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree in life sciences related discipline or related field Required.
Master's Degree or Ph.D. in life sciences related discipline or related field Preferred.
Typically requires at least 7 years of highly relevant experience and related competency levels or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

Strong understanding of QC processes and technical writing.
Familiarity with ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) and QMS (Quality Management System) preferred.
Understanding of entire lab workflow.
Experience with managing a team of direct reports.
