Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Define target architectures and solution blueprints that align with business strategies and comply with governance and regulatory standards.
• Own architecture and technical design decisions.
• Act as a recognized technical authority in cross-functional team discussions. Provide technical leadership across teams.
• Evaluate, Manage, and drive proof of concepts on new technologies and tools that contribute to the lines of business.
• As part of the project solutions process,drive, review, and validate the high-level solution design together with the business stakeholders and Implementation stakeholders for design approvals.
• Lead solution design for projects comprising of a cross-functional project team in alignment with the overall Digital roadmap of the bank during project execution. This involves actively collaborating with several stakeholders to analyse functional and non-functional requirements, translate them into a solution, and ensure that the proposed architecture is feasible and aligned to the bank’s Architecture vision, regulatory and security requirements.
• Familiarize with architectural patterns, and enterprise integration patterns and possess a wide knowledge of emerging technologies, competing products & services, and commonly used third-party tools & frameworks that can be effectively positioned to solve a Bank’s need.
• Contribute to ongoing architecture governance in the form of reviewing the applicability of existing standards, guidelines and processes as well as constantly provide feedback to recalibrate existing or introduce new architecture standards, guidelines and processes.
• Participate in the definition and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks within the client environment, where necessary.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide guidance on technical and architectural topics.

Requirements:

• Bachelors, professional degree or equivalent in Engineering preferably IT discipline.
• Financial technology and domain background with experience in Private Banking/Wealth Management is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering IT solutions for 12 years or more with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in solution architecture.
• Significant experience as an architect/technical lead in large cross-functional teams or enterprise projects.
• Excellent application analysis, design, and system integration skills.
• Able to work independently, good collaboration and influencing skills with a resilient mindset.
• Self-Motivated with the ability to drive initiatives and master new functional areas, methodologies, and technologies quickly.
• Strong technical background in integration with a good understanding of API Microservices concepts, software design patterns, event-based processing and DevSecOps.
• Significant experience in J2EE and Java applications development, knowledge, and experience in mobile development is a plus.
• Substantial exposure/direct experience in data-related projects, with a keen interest in data integration (both batch and event-based).
• Experience with process methodology, frameworks (TOGAF/SAFe Architect practice is an added advantage), and development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, Iterative) preferred.

Skillset

• Familiarity with Architectural and Design Patterns, Legislation and Banking Industry Regulations

The Technical Consultant is responsible for providing technical guidance and expert advice to our banking clients on the configuration of Temenos Products and customized developments throughout all stages of projects from initiation to post-live support. The Candidate should have strong core banking and/or Private Wealth Management technical experience in a Temenos Suite of products (T24 or TAP and TTI). The candidate should have strong stakeholder management and communication skills and should possess strong implementation background with Team management experience in Core banking transformation projects.

Key roles and Responsibilities

1. Perform the roles of Technical Consultant for the Temenos T24 Core Banking projects from Analyse & Design phase to post-live support.

2. Possess the capability to play integral technical roles as part of large project teams, working with senior management within Technology and Business groups, vendors, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.

3. Take leadership of the appropriate areas of responsibility assigned and participate in the successful development and execution of testing, data migration, integration, cutover plans, and execution.

4. Install custom enhancements, validate technical setup, and conduct necessary testing to ensure user acceptance and global quality of the solution delivered.

5. Provide clear and concise technical documentation for internal and external use.

6. Conduct Client technical and End User training as and when necessary.

7. Assist on the Migration strategy and migration developments.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Temenos T24 Software technical consultancy, expert Services, and ideally in a banking environment.

2. Experience and proven track record in the end-to-end implementation of T24 Core Banking transformation or Wealth Suite projects with hands-on T24 Architecture design will be highly preferred.

3. Techno-functional consultants with both technical experience and Product experts with in-depth knowledge of the below T24 modules are highly preferred.

• Securities and Corporate Actions, Derivatives (DX),
  • Structured Products (SY) and
  • Treasury Modules (MM,FX and Swaps)

4. Financial Accounting and GL reporting with hands-on experience in preparation of Accounting Schemas, charts of Accounts and analyzing GL mismatches and corrections will be highly preferred

5. Experience in Planning and Execution of multiple T24 upgrades, TAFC to TAFJ Migration, and Performance tuning projects will be an added advantage.

6. Hands-on experience in Integration framework, IRIS, and Design Frameworks are highly preferred

7. Technical knowledge: INFOBASIC, T24 JAVA API coding, JAVA, ORACLE 10 (or above) operating systems, knowledge, and familiarity with the functionality of UNIX, AS400, and NT, particularly disc structures.

8. Exposure To Wealth Suite Integration (T24 - TAP Integration TTI and TDS Integration).

9. Other: Analytical, organized, team player and able to work in a multicultural environment, excellent presentation skills.
