Job Details:
Job Summary: Performs PCB Design tasks through the application of engineering principles and techniques following designated standards and procedures. Works closely with other engineering disciplines. This job requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast and carefully thought-out results. This position typically works independently.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designs and analyzes passive RF and mmWave PCBs using Altium
- Prepares design specifications, analyses, and recommendations.
- Generate PCB manufacturing and assembly documents.
- Create and maintain Nuvotronics PCB footprint library.
- Interface with internal customers to define/verify performance requirements, present design solutions and updates on design progress.
- Runs in-house design reviews (PDR, CDR) and technical meetings.
- Logs, compiles and evaluates engineering data.
- Collaborates with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, layout, manufacturing, test, process, etc.) to ensure that design solutions meet form factor, performance, producibility and testability requirements.
- Keeps informed on improvements in electrical engineering design techniques.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or science discipline plus a minimum of fifteen (15) years experience or an applicable Master of Science degree.
- Experience with Altium Designer required.
- Experience with high frequency PCB design.
- Ability to use typical office automation products such as word processors and spreadsheets.
- Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, and work under deadlines.
- Strong technical problem solving skills required
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
