Cardinal Health's Program/Project Management is responsible for planning, developing, communicating, implementation, and evaluating programs that involve working with external entities and their corresponding resources as well as with the company's internal resources. May manage project and/or program managers within assigned program and/or project. Works within the constraints of budget, schedule, and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.

The project manager position resides within the Project Management Office. A project manager will provide oversight for and perform tasks associated with improving customer’s inventory management practices.
The successful project manager is a skilled project manager and team leader, has extensive knowledge of project management fundamentals, is a self-starter, has excellent communication skills, is well organized, and is comfortable and experienced in contacting and conversing with senior business executives, clinicians, and materials management personnel. A successful project manager will possess a demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships, have a collaborative approach in a team environment, possess strong interpersonal and communicative skills, and hold themselves accountable to the highest level of standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation of all WaveMark solutions, demonstrating planning and execution throughout a project lifecycle including: defining project scope, gathering and prioritizing project requirements, creating detailed project plans, executing a formal project plan, customer rollout, and transition.
- Coordinates cross-functionally (e.g., sales, engineering, marketing) to achieve project goals
- Effectively balance competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, funding, budget, resources, and risk, to manage project success.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of project management concepts and principles.
- Negotiate with stakeholders to obtain the resources necessary for successful project execution.
- Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines; communicate project status (health, forecast, issues, risks, etc. to stakeholders in an open and honest fashion.
- Anticipate complex project risks factors and develops mitigation strategies and plans.
- Influence and manage expectations to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned.
- Independently manage multiple and complex implementation project plans at a hospital and system level.
- Regularly communicates with internal and external stakeholders through weekly status reporting to ensuring the project team is on pace and on budget.
- Continuously drive process improvement in the WaveMark installation methodology. Communicate with WaveMark project team on learnings, challenges, and customer feedback to support continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 6+ years experience in related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
- PMP Certification preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50-75%
- To the extent permitted by state law, provide proof of and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions.

Anticipated salary range: $78,500 - $112,100
