Job Description:
Hospitality position provides “White Glove” customer service and is responsible for taking care of all client meetings and events, and hospitality tasks at a client location.
Responsibilities
- Provide “White Glove” hospitality services
- Set-up meeting rooms as specified
- Perform walk through of floor(s) to inspect and ensure that all conference rooms and kitchens are clean, and stocked with supplies
- Clean pantry and kitchen as needed
- Provide support for miscellaneous requests and flex services
- Utilize various software and event planning programs to meet tasks
- Coordinate all hospitality-related functions and assist in prep set‐up/break‐down of all meetings, conferences and offsite events to ensure all requests are scheduled appropriately according to specified timelines provided by lawyers and legal practice assistants.
- Assist lawyers and support staff with menu arrangements, meeting room reservations and catering requests, accurately documenting all aspects to ensure all requests are met and information has been properly entered and executed.
- Provide Reception Desk coverage, including greeting, directing, and otherwise assisting firm guests; reception telephone coverage and responding in a timely manner to online/emailed space requests.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2-year work experience, client service-oriented preferred
- Minimum of 5 years Hospitality/Concierge/Restaurant experience
- Good customer service skills, including tact in handling complaints.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift or move 40 lbs.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended periods of time
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Outlook, Word, and Excel
