Job Description

To assist in post-trade compliance, assist in the monitoring of the investment and transactional activities of fund managers to ensure compliance with regulatory and client-mandated investment guidelines.  You will also ensure that all client reporting are done accurately and on a timely basis. As our fund managers invest in a broad range of instruments, you should have some knowledge in various financial securities products.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintenance of accurate compliance rules across all fund types, in accordance with Investment guidelines or compliance parameters provided by client / fund manager.
• Ensure accurate and correct interpretation of guidelines and the creation of relevant rules in the compliance monitoring system.
• Ensure that alerts and / or breaches are monitored daily and follow-up action taken and documented. 
• Updating of Operating Procedures Manual and Operating Memorandums with clients.
• By adhering to guidelines and checklists, ensure that standard procedures and controls, as set out in the Operating Procedures Manual, are being adhered to. 
• Responsible for ensuring that all the daily / non-daily reporting to clients are met as per requirements.  
• Attend to client queries.
• Assist Funds Compliance Monitoring Manager in the smooth running of the compliance monitoring function of the department, including adherence to corporate and regulatory policies and requirements.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives. 
• Assist in training and development of new or inexperienced staff.
• Assist in user acceptance testing. 
• Working with internal/external parties (for example clients, fund managers, vendors, fund accountants, auditors etc)

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in Banking / Finance or Accountancy
• 2 - 4 years experience in the financial industry (fund management / insurance business will be preferred) with relevant experience in post-trade compliance platforms, creating and maintaining rules for purposes of portfolio compliance. Knowledge of the various component feeds to the system (fund accounting data base, third party vendor feeds) will be an added advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of investment guidelines, securities ratings and industry classification, benchmark indexes, etc. 
• Demonstrating a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to write macros and rule logic, knowledge of SQL and data mapping will be a plus.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Excel & macros. Preferably with working knowledge of SQL and data mapping.
• Able to interpret legal clauses and paraphrase into simple and clear requirements.
• Service-oriented and client focused. A team player with strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willing to work on Singapore public holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing and reviewing of investment funds financial statements to ensure disclosures are in accordance with applicable accounting standards and reporting jurisdiction
• Responsible for preparing and reviewing of risk-based capital reports for delivery to the clients on a timely basis

• Familiarity with financial reporting requirements under IFRS and other applicable regulatory provisions
• Knowledge on preparation of Net Asset Valuation for investment funds in fund accounting industry will be an advantage but not a must
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is a must; whilst familiarity with Excel-Macro will be an advantage

The Securities & Derivative Analyst 2 is an Intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform trade verifications to ensure accuracy of booking requests
• Generate and match trade confirmations according to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) templates
• Complete settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations accurately and on time

Job Purpose:

This is an Operations Manager role responsible for the end to end processing of Derivatives transactions and Margining. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing, high profile and energized team providing daily operational support to our Global Business and Clients.

• Reporting into Singapore Markets Operations Leadership Team, the primary responsibility of this role will be:
  • Execute Derivatives trade confirmation and settlement in timely and accurate manner
  • Generate Margin call to clients and post collateral as per agreement
  • Formulate procedures, techniques and contribute to the development of new techniques that increase team productivity, ensuring entire team meets or exceeds performance goals
  • Escalate control gaps and issues to leadership and implement procedures and solutions to mitigate risk
  • Proactive engagement with Singapore country and Global Commodities stakeholders (Business, Technology, Finance/PCG, Legal etc.) in order to support the business and clients
  • Work closely with the Risk & Control team in adhering to an effective control framework that fully meets Audit, Compliance and Regulatory requirements
  • Involvement in developing standardized and sustainable operational workflow and service standards for new product or product variations launches by Global/APAC Commodities business. ie. NPAC process.

The Fund Accounting Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees, leading a variety of fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of activities associated with Net Asset Valuations (NAVs).

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as support mechanism for achievement including SMART goal setting
• Calculate daily and periodic NAVs for fund and dissemination of the associated unit prices to facilitate investor dealing in accordance with all local regulations, accepted accounting values, and local tax requirements, as well as produce full set of audited annual financial accounts and unaudited semiannual accounts for each regulated entity
• Complete regulatory reporting and associated client reporting requirements covering all aspects of the funds valuation, portfolio, expenses, and transaction volumes ensuring a variety of standard and client/regulatory formats
• Assist the section manager of a team of Fund Accountants who are responsible for a broad spectrum of financial and accounting matters affecting clients
• Identify and implement corrective action plans across teams while analyzing and assessing business risk
• Serve as primary point of escalation for internal/external staff queries, and develop/manage process, productivity, and quality standards
• Create, develop, and maintain business relationships, identify and implement service, system, and process enhancements, lead and evaluate system testing, and train staff on new technology enhancements
