Team/Role Overview

The role will be a part of the Foreign Exchange Market Risk team within the Market Risk Management group who are responsible for oversight of the Global FX business. This role sits in our London office and focuses on the market risks associated with the Global FX Trading business.

The Global FX business is a significant business covering all standard FX products including options & exotic derivatives, model-based trading, as well as standard vanilla products.

What you will do

• Work with existing team members to be accountable for the identification and evaluation of market risks generated by the Global FX business (with a focus on the short-term interest rate trading business). Identification of ‘top risks and outlier stress events. Working on and performing ad-hoc scenarios.
• Leverage the experience and competences of the team members to achieve the team objectives. Provide guidance to team members and develop the talent of the team.
• Communication with trading desks.
• Candidate must be extremely comfortable discussing products and their risks and building analysis tools to analyse risk and market data, portfolio risks and individual trades.
• Working with others to ensure that the reported exposures are correct and cover the main drivers of risk and potential p/l, identification, and resolution of any data issues.
• Ensuring limits are properly set and monitored accurately. Contribute to the development or production of metrics used to satisfy regulatory requirements and stress testing processes.
• Periodic preparation of presentation materials for senior management or for internal discussions. Ability to speak as needed on market events.
• Review and validate assumptions in risk models used by underlying business unit(s) and analyse the impact of model changes.
• Work closely with Financial Control, Valuation Control, and the Model Risk groups within the organization to ensure that the proper controls are in place.
• Help with reviews of new business proposals including risk limits setting and monitoring and ensuring risks can be fully captured within the firm’s systems.

What we will need from you  

• The successful candidate must be able to build effective relationships with front office and other groups as well as risk colleagues, challenge assumptions, be comfortable with quantitatively complex issues, willing to work at the detailed level and be a producer of high quality and insightful output.
• It is vital that the candidate has good technical knowledge of derivates. The candidate should be willing to further develop their knowledge of the business and of market risk approaches. Over time there may be scope to expand to cover other aspects of the business within Global FX.
• Proven, relevant experience in the FX and/or Rates markets with good knowledge of the markets, products, and risk.
• Good quantitative level of experience with derivative products pricing and risk.
• Experience with portfolio risk measurement techniques including VAR and stress testing.
• Strong relationship management and liaison with businesspeople of all levels while being willing and able to challenge as needed, particularly the front office.
• Dedication to information integrity and to producing high quality and insightful output required. 
• Good presentation and communication skills both in writing and verbal.
• Bachelor level degree, Masters or PhD can be useful. Familiarity with financial or statistical modelling is beneficial.
• Strong experience and facility with Excel including VBA and add-in functions, ideally with experience of using financial pricing functions. Python and/or Business Intelligence experience not required, but useful.

The candidate will be expected to lead credit due diligence with clients and will be responsible for the end to end delivery of credit requests internally.   

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside bankers in underwriting requests for new and existing clients with ownership responsibility for the end to end credit process.
• Lead credit due diligence with clients and perform relevant industry and peer analysis.
• Prepare detailed written credit summaries by analyzing the business, performing detailed financial analysis, interpreting the finance need, identifying the strengths and prevailing risk factors and rendering a final credit decision that meet the Business risk and return goals.

Competencies & Experience:

• Commercial/Corporate banking experience with a focus on credit analysis and underwriting. UK banking industry experience preferred.  
• Proven analytical skills including the ability to read and assess company financial statements, cash flow, industry and competitive analysis and projections.
• Knowledge of intermediate accounting theory and its practical application in the credit underwriting process.
• Experience working with and negotiating LMA Investment Grade or Leveraged RCF and Term Loan credit agreements.
• Experience preparing financial assumptions in order to build cash flow projection models.  
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, problem recognition and resolution skills, and ability to work independently and within a team.

Role Overview

The purpose of this role is to play a lead role in build-out of an integrated approach for monitoring and diagnosing of several aspects in Citi’s Cultural ‘health’ to ensure we are listening to the feedback loop mentioned above.

This includes business-as-usual activities related to an annual Cultural Health Assessment and ongoing monitoring and diagnostics from the Culture Dashboard. The incumbent(s) will in turn work directly with the Applied Behavioural Insights (‘ABI’) Projects team supporting behaviour change projects via the input of data insights and assisting with any diagnostic or monitoring requirements across all stages of the ABI project life cycle.

Outside of these regular activities, there lies much greenfield opportunity to evaluate and trial quantitative and qualitative techniques for improved monitoring and diagnostics across Citi’s Culture, with a specific interest and focus on unobtrusive culture measures.

What you will do

The individual will play a lead role the following key areas:

• Activities to inform Citi’s Culture Council review cycle, including input into any semi-regular governance-related activities that require a cultural lens.
• Own and direct other members of the team in the production of aspects of the Culture Health Assessment including, analysis, summary, and presentation activities, developing underlying methodologies, developing associated procedural documentation, ensuring effective risk management and governance across the entire process.
• Support in the Culture Dashboard build-out and UAT, collaborating closely with our partners in the People Analytics & Insights team.
• Support in ongoing uplift requirements of the Culture Dashboard late 2024 and beyond
• Build relationships and engage with stakeholders across the bank to understand Culture data requirements and integrate these into Dashboard uplift activities, working towards a self-service model of Culture data to the organisation.
• Work closely with the ABI Project team across all ‘Define,’ ‘Diagnose,’ ‘Design,’ ‘Test’ and ‘Iterate / Embed,’ project requirements and support of quantitative and qualitative data aggregation and analysis requirements.
• Develop outcome measures for the ABI projects, building mechanisms for capture and reporting.
• Develop and test new and novel approaches to unobtrusive culture measures across Citi and integrate these into our processes, examples may include, but not limited to; text analysis of board and other governance meeting minutes, review, and analysis of external data sources (e.g., Glassdoor) for cultural themes that pertain to Citi.

What we will need from you

• Quantitative skills enabling the effective aggregation and analysis of a variety of data.

Responsibilities:

The Financial Crime Risk Manager will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, governance, and oversight for the Money Laundering, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruptions (AB&C) risk stripes within Citi’s Banking business. The role will have a Global mandate, be part of the first line of defence (1LOD) and focus on the Commercial Banking business. Key Responsibilities

The EMEA FX Risk Management Solutions and Structuring team is part of  FX Structuring and Solutions and focuses on helping corporate and investor clients assess and manage their FX risk. The team sits on the public-side and works closely with FX Sales, Banking  and Trading.

The Generative AI Security Assurance Analyst  reports into the CISO organization with dedicated functional alignment to Citi’s generative AI enablement group to establish and maintain security assurance for company's adoption of generative AI technology.  You will be responsible for analysis of generative AI usage  and manage the GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) functions related to generative AI implementation, ensuring compliance with Citi as well as  global regulations.

Key Responsibilities -

Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)

• Develop, implement, and manage  a comprehensive security assurance measures for generative AI usage across the company.
• Provide thought leadership and creativity to mature generative AI security governance embedding into our existing cyber risk appetite framework
• Stay abreast of relevant global regulations, industry standards, executive memos, analyst views, and technology trends.
• Provide expertise and guidance on the interpretation and implementation of regulatory requirements to CISO functions.
• Drive security assurance maturity through relevant CISO governance framework, policy, standard, and metrics development
• Support business during regulatory examinations, and projects ensuring alignment with regulatory expectation
• Perform security assessments of technology and security solutions enabling generative AI usage across Citi
• Develop, and manage security guardrails for generative AI implementations
• Identify, track, and manage information security issues. Provide remediation/mitigation recommendations and oversee plans to ensure that generative Ai based implementations comply with Citi standards as well as meet regulatory requirements. 
• Support Global Information Security policies, standards, and initiatives development and implementation by representing in different Citi action groups such as Delegated Action Groups (DAG).
• Partner with CISO GRC in both leading and supporting capacities to manage generative AI assurance function
• Perform  program , and project management functions for CISO generative AI use cases. Ensure successful execution of the various projects under their remit
• Implement, Monitor, and Challenge KRIs and KPIs to help drive program performance
• Interface with CISO functions  (Architecture, engineering. SecOps, etc.) technology, cyber and operational risk management, Auditors, Regulators, and other stake holders to communicate and manage program/project performance
• Build internal and external networks to ensure alignment across programs, industry best practices, and to maintain current knowledge regarding AI/ML/Gen AI information security/cyber developments

What you will bring

Essential Experience

• Extensive Information Security assurance/GRC experience in is required
• Proven program/project management experience for is required.
• Good understanding  of information  security, AI/Machine Learning/generative AI  or data science is required
• Experience or knowledge of business applications leveraging generative Ai is recommended
• Demonstrated  knowledge of software development processes (SDLC / Agile / Iterative / DevOps)
• A demonstrated knowledge of information security standards, rules and regulations related to information security and data confidentiality and other various security standards and policies.
• Experience interfacing with regulators and internal audit is required
• Ability to keep up to date with technology and security.

• Good leadership, strategic thinking, and large-scale planning abilities.
• Able make informed decision and appropriate adjustments.

• Demonstrated experience with cyber engineering and operations, which could include DevSecOps and MLSecOps is a plus

• Bachelor’s / Masters degree/University degree or equivalent experience performing a similar role.

Serves as a senior compliance risk officer for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) responsible for establishing internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes related to monitoring and fostering awareness of sanctions regulatory requirements that Citi must comply with; assessing related sanctions risk exposure, overseeing the quality of sanctions control processes and setting global standards to manage and mitigate those sanctions risks and protect the franchise. Responsibilities:
