Downstream Global Product Manager- Clinical Applications & Devices
We have a unique opportunity for a Downstream Global Product Manager to join the Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) business and own the commercial product marketing activities for one of the product portfolios. You will be a part of the High/Mid/Low Acuity Solutions product marketing team and you will report to the Acuity Solutions Leader. Products are made up of equipment and/ or software applications and/or services and/or accessories and disposables. You will be part of a truly international work environment.
Your role:
Own global product launches and drive adoption of products in the portfolio.
Drive global marketing deliverables including business plans, positioning, promotional strategies, product discontinuation, and advising on future product developments.
Collaborate with upstream marketing, training and education, and clinical research counterparts to translate activities into marketplace success.
Engage and actively maintain close collaboration with key opinion leaders to maximize their participation in launch & corporate activities.
Analyze product forecasts and manage inventory with a high degree of monthly predictability.
You're the right fit if:
You have acquired a minimum of 5 years of downstream product management experience including experience with value propositions and product launches.
You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in biological/clinical science, marketing or business.
You have:
A natural affinity for healthcare business and a market and customer driven mind-set.
A good understanding of the global medical environment to effectively respond to global market concerns and provide technical support for products.
Strong analytical skills and the passion to drive business growth. Ability to think creatively and pragmatically and convert product/customer feedback into valuable insights that can help drive the development of new marketing programs.
Excellent advocacy and persuasive skills to collaborate with local marketing and sales teams, influence others, present convincing arguments and build and maintain extensive networks.
A healthy disdain for the status quo, and a willingness to question existing practices to identify better alternatives.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible enough to change priorities with short notice when necessary.
Experience working in a matrixed environment with distributed accountabilities and unclear precedents. Must be able to work in a team and independently with minimal direction.
Proficient software skills across all standard programs.
Domestic and international travel required, approximately 30% of the time.
