The Audit Manager is an intermediate level role responsible for supporting the newly formed IA Methodology and Audit Life Cycle team to ensure that the IA Methodology is effective and efficient and helping the IA team deliver on its mandate. The overall team objective is to ensure that IA’s Methodology and Audit Life Cycle is robust, compliant with industry and regulatory standards, meeting expectations of all stakeholders internally and externally, and ultimately delivering value to the function and in turn the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Constantly evaluate where opportunities exist to simplify, strengthen and improve the methodology, processes and requirements, which in turn support IA’s delivery of robust assurance
• Design methodology-based-requirements for IA’s systems and operational processes
• Lead small to medium complex projects to deliver and implementation of methodology related changes
• Partner with all teams within IA to ensure the Methodology is effective and efficient across the end-to-end Audit Life Cycle
• Collaborate  with 1st and 2nd lines of defense on governance, risk and compliance initiatives across the 3 lines of defense
• Maintain and constantly enhance the tools that support the Methodology e.g., job aids, guidance, templates and chatbot
• Proactively engage with all stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure expectations are understood and met
• Contribute to the remediation of methodology related issues which arise and proactively contribute to IA’s robust internal control environment
• Use communication skills to influence a wide range of internal audiences, and provide team training and briefings
• Serve as an SME to senior stakeholders and IA  colleagues, including consulting with and advising audit teams in unique or complex situations

Qualifications:

• Audit Manager experience
• Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred
• Understanding of Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Professional Practices Framework, including the IIA’s International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards). (preferred)

We are seeking an Internal Auditor AVP for the Capital Risk Team to assist in the execution of IA’s comprehensive audit program of coverage relating to Citi’s Risk Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Team/Role Overview

What you’ll do

This position reports directly to the AML Manager supporting the Global Fund Services (GFS) business.  You will manage a team of AML and Registration SMEs in a busy deadline driven operational environment. Whilst assisting the AML Manager in the review of new AML regulations and in implementing policies and practices that ensure compliance.

• Day to day management of team and adequate allocation of resource to ensure effective daily trade activity, screening, investor follow up and in-queries within the terms of our internal and external SLA.
• Monitoring oversight of Outsourced Service Providers
• Implementation of fund events impacting the team.
• Alignment of processes across EMEA locations where applicable.
• Participation in client service calls and monitoring of client sentiment through metrics provided.  
• Review of current processes and systems with the intention of identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and defining a best in practice operating model for the AML and Registration team.

What we’ll need from you

• Funds experience, preferably in a TA/AML or Compliance environment (other AML experience will be considered)
• Ability to demonstrate management, coaching and leadership skill gained as a Team manager / Experience of running an operational team of at least 6 people
• Detailed knowledge of Irish AML regulations and familiarity  with the global AML environment
• Knowledge of hedge and mutual funds, including investor AML
• Experience of core systems used for TA/AML/Record keeping.
• Experience of system development from an SME perspective.
• Experience of process review

Team/Role Overview

The Cash Reconciliations team manage the reconciliation of incoming and outbound Issuer Services Payments over a number of different reconciliation platforms where we offer Depository servicing, Issuing & Paying agency services and Specialized Agency functions such as Account Bank, Project Finance, Structured Finance and Escrow Agent functions.

What you’ll do

The Section Manager is a senior management level position.  You will be responsible for managing risk by overseeing cash reconciliations and exception management process.  You will also lead the regional team, collaborating with colleagues in other regions and working with technology to incorporate enhancements and recommend/drive operational change and improvements. You will also:

• Review cash exceptions daily to ensure team is appropriately raising and resolving
• Identify, lead and mitigate operational risks and raise risk /services issues on a timely basis
• Provide detailed analysis of escalated issues when necessary and recommend actions for resolution
• Contribute to processing standards and expectations for securities and derivatives processing teams
• Develop and implement business plans, policies, and procedures that offer solutions and cost saving opportunities
• Propose solutions to implement settlement process improvements, enhancements, or overall technology enhancements
• Coordinate with internal and external clients to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement

What we’ll need from you

• Reconciliation experience
• Financial Services experience. Payments or documentation review experience would be of benefit.

Your team will be accountable and responsible for operational oversight of the closing and servicing of all loan transactions of the business division being supported to ensure all internal and external requirements are met.

What you’ll do

The Transaction Manager is responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle including but not limited to loan closing and servicing coordination, facilitating complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control.

• Understanding and awareness of appropriate corporate and regulatory policies in relation to Lending

• Experience within a large global team supporting wholesale lending at large financial Institution

• Understanding of end to end operational processes supporting Wholesale lending

You will join a large tax department based in Dublin with a specialist subset in our US Tax Team. Your team is responsible for reporting and advising on key US tax requirements to support our stakeholders on Citi’s tax compliance obligations.

What you’ll do

You will be an Intermediate Tax Analyst who has experience in US tax and is a developing professional. You apply analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. • Act as a tax information reporting specialist to execute the FATCA advisory/rollout, Systems conversions/rollouts.

The NAV Oversight team in Dublin consists of 28 talented people with 10+ years’ experience in the industry. The Oversight Model utilises Service Centres in Warsaw, Columbus, Kuala Lumpur, Luxembourg, Edinburgh, Pune & GPC. The Dublin Centre of Excellence for Share Class Hedging also sits within the FA Department. With a strong pipeline of new business for 2024/2025, this is a pivotal time for the Irish franchise as we continue to grow the business and expand our product offerings.

What you’ll do

You will ensure the seamless delivery of activities required to produce Fund Net Asset Valuations. The Fund Accounting Intermediate Analyst role will entrust you with the responsibility of managing the deliverables from a diverse group of offshore accountants and will allow you to use your own industry experience and to home in on your own leadership skills, acting as a staging point for the next step into management. You will also:

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations in partnership with all onshore and offshore locations such as NAV production, pricing, corporate actions.
• Act as a senior SME by supervising the daily workflow of junior fund accountants, leading process improvement initiatives, coordinating workflow with related departments and recommending new work controls & procedures.
• Supporting NAV preparation in accordance with client requirements, support incremental business and review NAVs ensuring accuracy of valuation reports.
• Resolving client queries and interact with Fund Managers and other service providers/counterparts to ensure successful service delivery with support from the manager.
• Ensuring timeliness of client service deliverables in accordance with agreed deadlines while promptly replying to accounting queries from investment sites and fund sponsor (portfolio manager, auditors, and back-office)
• Identifying issues, risks & control gaps, ensuring they are escalated appropriately.

What we’ll need from you

While all our candidates would be required to have strong Fund Accounting experience, additional related industry experience, financial education or math's/statistics background or analytical mind-set would be a strong bonus:

• Fund accounting experience. / Fund accounting oversight.
• Production and final check experience of NAVs desired.
• Mutual funds experience preferred.
• Portfolio knowledge
• Previous supervisory experience would be beneficial but not essential.

Transaction Management will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle including but not limited to loan closing and servicing coordination, facilitating complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control.  The team will be accountable and responsible for operational oversight of the closing and servicing of all loan transactions of the business division being supported to ensure all internal and external requirements are met.

We are looking for applicants with credit skills with a background in CMBS and RMBS.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the build and development team to support loan origination and lifecycle management which includes large complex syndicated and bilateral loans covering but not limited to corporate, commercial, real estate, structured lending and trade.
• Assist with the creation of processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and implementation of transaction management.
• Aid in the design and implementation of technology including testing and rollout.
• Provide training and support to transaction management staff and business constituents.
• Partner with each of the originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, etc.
• Ensure that quality of data, controls and processes performed meet internal policies and regulatory requirements/expectations.
• Work with lines of business, transaction management, and loan operations to define and implement operational metrics and risk and control reviews to ensure all stakeholders have end to end transparency.
• Constantly improve processes, controls and efficiencies within the group and front to back across loan lifecycle
• Participate in projects to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Take part in loan remediation and loan system testing / migrations.
• Actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions.
• Coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events, capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues/roadblocks, perform quality control
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• Individual must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Individual must work well under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete assigned tasks with minimal management follow up. 
• Candidate has quantitative skills with a high proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft based programs.
• Tableau or visualization tool familiarity
• Experience with Loan IQ, transaction capture tools, etc.

Additional non-core qualifications which will be considered are:

Enterprise Risk Analytics (ERA) is a part of Citi’s Risk Management organization that is responsible for Enterprise-level risk metrics including stress testing. Enterprise-wide stress testing program is sponsored by the Citigroup CRO, who reviews the stress testing results with the rest of the executive management team. Enterprise Risk Analytics & Stress Testing is responsible for Enterprise Stress Testing with Legal Entity Oversight (LEO), Material Legal Entity (MLE) Stress Testing and Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Plan (ICAAP) execution and oversight, Firmwide Scenario Design and Expansion which cover Enterprise programs and all Legal Entities.

The Enterprise Scenario Design (ESD) team within ERA is responsible for designing macro-economic and market shock scenarios for all enterprise level stress testing, capital planning, and reserve adequacy usages.

The ICAAP Economic Forecasting Lead reports to the Head of Macro Scenario Design. S/He will be responsible for the complete suite of process that is required to generate the ICAAP stress scenarios for different legal Citi entities. S/he will be responsible for providing both a subject matter expertise and hands on experience in econometric model development, execution, and assessment. S/He will manage model development, model documentation and ongoing model maintenance, data quality controls, production oversight, reporting and reviews. This role also collaborates with the Economics and Strategy Research teams, other Risk functions, several line of businesses and Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end process of ICAAP macroeconomic scenario design, including conducting research to come up with a range of possible scenario concepts, preparing the scenario narrative and forecasting macroeconomic series under the scenarios.
• Represent ESD team at the ICAAP macro scenario design related meetings.
• Develop models to expand enterprise scenario designs to all variables required by downstream models in EMEA, APAC and other regions.
• Document models and perform ongoing model maintenance to comply with the firm’s model.

• Risk management policy.

• Work with model implementation team to facilitate production run.
• Monitor model output and perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Communicates results to diverse audiences.
• Provide guidance to junior modelers as and when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience in delivering scenario narratives and expansion for ICAAP stress tests for internal and economic capital requirements.
• 10+ years of economic research and model development experience in forecasting economic and financial variables.
• Expertise in macro-economic analysis, forecasting. 
• Familiar with CCAR, CECL and ICAAP stress testing scenarios.
• Expertise in macro-economic scenario review and narratives and determine optimal set of macro/finance risk drivers, the respective forecast and forecast density.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Candidates must have experiences in Python, R, Stata, or SAS programming environment. 
• Previous experience in a role requiring managing/analyzing large data sets and presenting the data visually to senior management is highly desired.
• Background from graduate level time series econometrics, macro-econometrics, business forecasting is essential to be successful in this role.   
• Experience in development and management of teams.
• Experience in project management, including planning, resourcing, status reporting, and issues management.

Education:

• Masters’ degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Econometrics, mathematics, statistics equivalent. PhD degree is preferred.
