Responsible for financial analysis, which includes long-term financial planning, management reporting and financial trends. In addition, responsible for the fiscal year planning process and consolidation, corporate department planning, forecasting and evaluating financial plans, and management of the indirect rate structures; annual planning and forecast of rates, rate impact analysis, and management reporting. The rates team works in conjunction with Compliance and is a liaison with DCMA/DCAA for forward pricing audits and analysis of actual rates. Duties may include collecting and analyzing data including revenues, expenses, costs, investments, cash flow, profits, interest rates, and exchange rates.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Financial Support Tasks
Create program Budget Structure and Project Structure elements, assign applicable budget, prepare funding documents, and monitor and report expenditures using Navy, Enterprise Resource Planning (N, ERP) system.
Assess the ability of current and planned program activities to execute within cost and schedule constraints, and report to senior program leadership the financial health of the program.
Contribute to budget formulation, and aid in the preparation, submission, and justification of appropriation, manpower, and other resource budgets.
Interface with BFMs to enable smooth execution of funds by providing needed documents and improving acquisition and financial processes.
Communicate the status of the program budget and available funds to Program Leadership.
Provide Budgeting, Cost Estimating, and Financial Management (BCFM) inputs to programmatic, systems engineering, and acquisition logistics documentation.
Coordinate with NAWCAD BFM to ensure charge numbers are available for the program and manage monthly charges to ensure proper financial oversight of program expenditures.
Communicate with various field activities articulating/understanding the unique documentation requirements to facilitate comptroller approval/acceptance
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Knowledge of DOD acquisition policies and RDT&E, APN, OPN, and O&MN funding policies.
Demonstrated knowledge about the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
At least five (5) years of work experience in supporting the Department of Defense budget process.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications; Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
Possess a US DOD TS clearance, SSBI/SBPR/PPR (within 6 years), with the ability to obtain SCI required accesses.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (experience substitutions authorized).
Knowledge of the following NAVAIR Tools: (TWB) Team Master Workbook, CSPT (Common Spend Plan Tool), PMT (Procurement Management Tool)
