What You’ll Get to Do:
We are seeking a Senior Oracle EBS/SOA Technical Developer focusing on user interface and concurrent program customization to support a Marine Corps Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) based logistics system. The system provides functions including asset visibility, supply, maintenance, readiness, task organization, repairs, request tracking, and financial information. The desired candidate will work in an Agile development team building Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, Extensions, Configurations, Personalizations, and Workflows (RICECPW) solutions. Candidate will develop, design, configure, test and document solution based on the requirements and user stories.
More About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and troubleshooting of issues related to Oracle Fusion Middleware technology including JEE, SOA 12C, OAG 12c, B2B 12C, BAM 12C, Web Service Security, BPEL, XML, XSLT, AXWAY, XQuery etc. Responsibilities include:
- Develop new interfaces using SOA 12c, BPEL and adapters
- Support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined to comply with approved Agile approach including deploying patches and upgrades to the technology stack.
- Interact with government product owners and other SMEs to analyze requirements, decompose requirements into user stories, draft user story acceptance criteria, and demonstrate solution
- Analyze Change Requests and provide level of effort estimates
- Tune and optimize related code and related systems level configurations.
- Provide detailed deployment instructions for successful migration/rollback of code.
- Provide technical support during the release testing phases.
- Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents.
- Drive meetings with production owners and manage the analysis through design and development phases.
- As required, provide updates to related deliverables.
- Review technical design documentation and perform code reviews produced by other SOA developers to understand and gain knowledge about the functionalities of different components.
- Provide knowledge transfer sessions and mentoring to junior resources as required.
- Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule.
- Work with vendors on service requests as required (e.g., Oracle).
- Perform impact analysis of the product updates released periodically by the vendor.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware technology including JEE, SOA 12C, OAG 11g, B2B 12C, BAM 12C, Web Service Security, XML, XSLT, XQuery etc.
- Expert in Oracle Fusion Middleware technology SOA 12C, OAG 12c, BPEL, AXWAY, B2B 12C, BAM 12C.
- Expert in building Oracle SOA 12c integration with Oracle EBS R12
- Experience in SOAP UI and POSTMAN
- Experience in developing SOAP web services and RESTful APIs
- Experience working in Oracle Linux environment and shell scripting.
- Experience in PL/SQL and Oracle EBS Suite
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience in Agile Scrum methodology
- Experience with OAF, ADF, JSF framework.
- Experience in Marine Corps / DoD supply and maintenance processes
- Experience in SCM
- Experience with Git-based version control systems
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Experience with OBIEE/OAS

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,600-$156,700
