Support Engineer - Managed Services

Equinix Managed Services offers virtual and physical infrastructure solutions to enterprises and governments.
Companies face a choice of where they keep their data: in the cloud, on-premises or colocation.
Equinix Managed Services offers solutions where these three data locations converge in a reliable, predictable and secure manner.
The Managed Services Support Team makes sure that Equinix Managed Solutions and its components are fully functional, it also supports our customers’ need from a hardware, software and configuration prospective.
The Support Engineer offers first line support to our Customers. The role requires working on shifts, including nights and weekend on rotation with the other team members .
First contact for customer for any requirements of change, or to support resolution of an incident
Provides support on escalations for complex technical issues.
Monitoring of all solutions to ensure a healthy day-to-day operation
Communicates Equinix operations decisions to customers and conducts post incident communications with customers
Engaging with other internal teams to further support customers
You have 1-2 years of experience with customers within an IT department.
You are familiar with resolving issues around configurations (f.i. Windows or Linux’s OS) and are keen to learn.
One of the following certifications is appreciated but not necessary:
CCIE, JNCIE, Ccar, CISSP, CISA, CISM, VCIX, TOGAF, MCSE, LIPC3, RHCA
