Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Software Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will get to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements. You will review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements, document test results, and utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the environment.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

• Experience is required in managing data science projects or being a Principal Investigator for a data science project.

• The position requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with legacy Java (version 8.0).

• Experience with scripting (Java scripting, JQuery, HTML, and XML).

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will get to provide support services to the Data Flow and Routing Solutions (DFRS) systems engineering team. Required support includes customer service, dataflow paths, organize dataflow implementation, identify ways to improve dataflow implementation and modernization efforts, and prioritize the customer’s needs based on larger strategic priorities.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Identify and establish new processes and procedures (modernization efforts, process improvement...) and have excellent customer service skills.

• Data tagging, data formats, data sanitization, data sharing rules/criteria, general dataflow knowledge and troubleshooting.

• Provide support to manage the process of dataflow requests. This includes customer and service provider support/interaction and learning the customer need and how it fits into the larger picture.

• Measure and monitor metrics, identify trends, discover areas for process improvement, document deficient resourcing, and report standings and finding to management and other stakeholders.

• Provide support to technical leaders by coordinating activities pertaining to the development, documentation and maintenance associated with changes to the system.

• Support also includes leading customer and service provider meetings, setting agendas, taking meeting notes, maintaining process documents, describing complex information in simple terms so people who are not experts can understand.

• Research and document dataflow processes according to standards of compliance in support of the Enterprise Data Header (EDH) initiatives. Support will include research, analysis, documentation, and integration of how data can be identified, protected, tracked and handled throughout its life cycle.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and at least 2 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s or PhD Degree may be substituted for the two years of experience. Note: a High School Diploma or GED plus 6 years of systems engineering experience is also acceptable.

• This Position requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

•  Experience in data tagging, data formats, data sanitization, data sharing rules/criteria, and general dataflow knowledge.

• Ability to work constructively and successfully with diverse stakeholders to resolve mission and technical issues is critical.

• Experience assisting with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.

• Experience analyzing and resolving complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.

• Experience performing market surveys/studies and providing recommendations for new and improved software to enhance IT capabilities.

• Experience establishing, maintaining, and submitting the annual Baseline Exception Request Plan for all IT equipment procurements.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Information Assurance Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide systems engineering and architecture support in the areas of architecture and standards, systems engineering integration, evaluation and testing, systems engineering implementation, and application services to a cryptologic program.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Identify, analyze, and recommend potential network and security architectures for the underlying infrastructure on which the customer will develop, test, and operate the lifecycle of physical production from ordering through production and distribution.

  Analyze the user requirements, concept of operations, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirement specifications.

  Assist with the development of system requirements and functional requirements, as well as assist with deriving lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements.

  Employ basic information assurance mechanisms (e.g. identification, authentication, access control, accountability) and security mechanism technology (passwords, cryptography, discretionary access control, mandatory access control, hashing, key management, etc.).

  Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of work products in Technical Process Areas associated with ISO/IEC 15288.

  Develop system architecture and system design documentation.

  Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance Services (confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 10 years of general systems engineering experience, a Master’s degree or PhD in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 8 years of general systems engineering experience, or a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 14 years of general systems engineering experience. ​
