The qualified candidate will serve as an Information Assurance professional within an established Information Security team. Under the direction of the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) the position specific responsibilities will include:

Primary Responsibilities

• This role may include a combination of duties to protect information and maintain security controls for an entire system, site, or program to reduce risk.
• Assist in managing risks related to the use of processing, storing, or transmitting information within an Information System
• Establish, implement, and manage security procedures and practices in support of customer requirements and objectives.
• Reduce or eliminate impact to confidentiality, integrity, or availability of information and information systems.
• Develop and update assessment and authorization documentation of information systems.
• Validate security policies and procedures outlined in the System Security Plan.
• Take corrective action to resolve problems identified and ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Develop process for the management, review, and retention of security audit data.  Report audit discrepancies to the ISSM.
• Perform security audits IAW established procedures. 
• Establish system specific recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly protected and restored.
• Conduct vulnerability management (scanning, assessment, reporting, and mitigation verification), security reviews and tests of systems to verify security features and controls are functional and effective. Take corrective action to resolve identified vulnerabilities.
• Perform periodic maintenance on systems to include installation of operating system patches and updating virus definitions.
• Install hardware and software as required.
• User account management.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance is required for consideration.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Information Technology/Network Administration or related discipline, or 2 - 4 years of direct experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Possess a current DoD 8570.01 compliant certification for IAM Level II, e.g. Security + w/CE, or the ability to obtain either within 6 months of employment.
• A working knowledge of Linux-based Information Systems with basic experience with Windows operating systems.
• The qualified candidate shall have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize, schedule, and complete multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting security audits of information systems.
• Extensive training or experience with Windows-based Information Systems with a working knowledge of LINUX operating systems.

Leidos is looking for a Document Management Technician - Records Management to serve as part of the litigation support team for the United States Attorney’s Office in Miami, FL.  This is an entry level position on the litigation support team but serves an important role for a detail-oriented and organized office administrative support person.  Approximately 70% of time will be spent in the office and 30% of time in the warehouse.

The Electronic Warfare Division has an opening for an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineer with Six Degree of Freedom M&S and Guidance, Navigation, and Control expertise.

Leidos is looking for a GNC engineer with experience in modeling missile performance to support our growing work in King of Prussia, PA or Eglin AFB, FL.   This is a technical engineering position to support design and analysis of advanced missiles with state of the art control systems.  Modeling and Simulation of missile performance will be conducted which requires knowledge of missile systems, including the acquisition and tracking sensors, and missile propulsion, aerodynamics, GNC, and seeker performance.  You will have the opportunity to work directly with US Government and prime contractors on the development of an advanced air-to-air and counter-hypersonics missile system.

Required Experience Level:   Candidates should have at least 4+ years’ experience in industry and a Bachelor's in a relevant field, Master's degree preferred.  Candidates are expected to create missile system models and perform 6-DOF analysis with minimal supervision. Candidates should also be able to grasp the big picture, identify, and perform system trade results showing the clear benefit of new technology.

Successful candidates are expected to have significant MATLAB / Simulink and/or C++ missile modeling experience.  Candidates with experience modeling divert and attitude control system and associated controls will be given preference.

Communication Skills:  Successful candidates should be able to effectively communicate with Leidos aerodynamics, airframe, and guidance and control personnel, and interact daily with customers, team members and end users.   Must develop a clear understanding of customer goals and objectives and shape work activities to satisfy them.   Must present both verbal and written status on a regular basis, and prepare manuscripts for publication at technical conferences and for professional journals.     

Engineering Skills:  Recent and relevant experience with one or more of the following disciplines is required: 

·         Application of 6-DOF simulation environments to evaluate missile designs

·         Autopilots/Control Systems –design and develop autopilots for aerodynamic- or DACS- controlled missiles 

·         MATLAB / Simulink – demonstrated experience in developing MATLAB / Simulink based control architectures, with the ability to integrate propulsion controls with missile or kill vehicle control logic

·         Modeling of Seekers – experience in modeling the performance of EO/IR and RF seekers, including gimbaled seekers, conformal seekers, AESA based seekers, and/or strap down seekers
 

Education:   Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or equivalent Engineering or Science discipline

Clearance:  Must be a U.S. Citizen with active Secret clearance.

The Electronic Warfare Division at Leidos has an opening for a Computational Fluid Dynamic engineer at Eglin AFB.

This is a technical engineering position performing computational fluid dynamics modeling and simulation for supersonic and hypersonic missiles.  The candidate will perform gridding, computational fluid dynamics simulations, gas dynamics calculations, flow visualization, and workflow programming, using both local and DoD Distributed Supercomputing Resource Centers for massive deployment and monitoring of solutions and harvesting of results.  These solutions will be used to generate multi-fidelity aerodynamic data and interfaced with computational structural dynamics models to advance research in fluid-thermal-structural interactions (FTSI) of high speed missiles.  In this primarily technical position, the candidate will be expected to also apply deep domain knowledge in order to help grow the Leidos air-breathing hypersonics program portfolio for our nation’s defense.  

Impact & Complexity:  Leads the development of innovative technical solutions thru research and integration of best practices.  Employ ingenuity and creativity to integrate computational fluid dynamic models into efficient workflow processes to achieve customer research performance objectives.

Education:  Requires a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or similar discipline and 6+ years’ experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) providing cyber security oversight for several major OPR applications and general support systems as assigned by the Government Information Systems Security Manager.
