The Senior Account Manager is responsible for coordination of account management and customer service in support of the client and production team using a variety of high-level skills and knowledge of the industry, market, products, and competition. Must have experience and knowledge with Self-Funded Medical plans.

General Responsibilities:
- Primary day to day contact for client
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day account management of client accounts, including but not limited to benefits inquires and billing/claims resolution
- Develop and foster quality relationships with clients and teammates
- Engage with customers and prospects at all levels of client's decision-makers as well as the day-to-day technical client representatives
- Work in conjunction with associated producer to develop customer service plans for each client tailored to their individual needs
- Compile and create annual renewal presentations to include benefit and cost summaries of renewals and applicable proposals while ensuring agreement with customer's request/requirements
- Correspond and coordinate with carriers and vendors on behalf of clients
- Compile and create quarterly or semi-annual claims utilization analysis for clients (level/self funded)
- Maintain client system of record
- Operate agency operating system and basic programs such as Word and Excel as needed
- Meet requirements for licensing as directed by the branch
- Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established quality control procedures and timelines
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ year of experience in the insurance industry with a strong emphasis in employee benefits insurance preferred
- Life and Health license
- Proficient with management operating systems that support insurance sales, tracking and service
- Proficient with Microsoft Tools, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree preferred but not required with appropriate work experience
