Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Placement Marketing Representative for our Commercial Lines team in Longmeadow, MA. This individual will be responsible for supporting the retention and growth of business through strategic placement while servicing and managing client relationships.
This opportunity is in-office or hybrid.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop a full working knowledge of commercial lines procedures.
- Manage the renewal process, including loss trend analysis, market analysis, renewal pricing negotiation, and renewal proposal preparation. Prepare and review monthly marketing analysis to achieve department goals and objectives.
- Identify new opportunities, market trends, and client product and service offerings.
- Implement marketing strategies, incorporating new products and services for select markets.
- Identify gaps in coverage, as well as work through complex coverage needs.
- Manage the assigned book of business, including—but not limited to—processing policies, endorsements, invoices, certificate issuance, premium breakdowns, auto ID cards, and policy changes.
- Ensure internal compliance and client disclosure requirements; meet client expectations, legal requirements, and insurance operations.
- Support and mentor the sales team with new business meetings and implementation of new clients.
- Establish carrier partnerships and internal resources to optimize coverage, services, and pricing.
- Create and present educational materials for value-added services to the sales and services team.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Strong technical knowledge of coverage in all commercial lines of insurance coverage
- 4+ years of generalist commercial insurance experience
- Active Property & Casualty License
- Insurance designation is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and maintenance of acceptable insurance coverages required.
