SUMMARY: This position will perform troubleshooting and repair, and provide technical support for all phases of the operation. The position is a technical career position in Tyson Foods, Inc. This position requires proficiency in multiple skill clusters including a thorough understanding of electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes. The ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations is required.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience: Training beyond high school including either
an Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or closely related
technical field preferred, or a combination of education and experience
which may include skilled trade programs, military training or other
training as applicable.
Computer Skills: Competent in Windows based software, such as Outlook,
Excel and Word; strong skills in document organization and using
document templates and creating simple queries. Must be proficient or
become proficient in SAP Plant Maintenance.
Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate both verbally and
written; high level critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
Certification: Certifications in any technical field or techniques is a
plus.
Special Skills: Good safety and attendance record, along with strong
interpersonal skills; demonstrated skills in the area of AC/DC circuits,
industrial electrical systems.; experience in electrical safety and lock
out tag out processes and procedures; knowledge in the theory and
application of electronic devices such as industrial semi-conductors,
solid state drives, and industrial control systems; experience in the
operation of PLC systems and control and data collection instrumentation
and transducers; working knowledge and skills in tools and components
used in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems such as bearings,
gears, clutches belts, and seals; ability to troubleshoot and maintain
hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems.
Preferred Skills: Possession of one or more of the skills is a plus -
Basic Microcomputer skills necessary to understand the operation and
interfacing characteristics of microprocessors; experience in PLC
operation to include basic system configuration and hardware, relay
equivalent instructions, timers/counters, data manipulation, data
communications and advanced programming commands, as well as
interfacing, troubleshooting and application and program development;
demonstrated skills or training in electronic motor drive technologies
including servo- motors, encoders, tachometers, electronic and
mechanical brakes and clutches, closed loop systems, DC servo, AC
variable frequency, AC servo and stepper systems.
Travel: Minimum 1-5 trips per year outside of assigned location.

SUMMARY: Occupational health nursing is the specialty practice that delivers health and safety programs and services to workers and worker populations.  The practice focuses on promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work-related and environmental hazards.

This position will conduct medical history and physical assessments; adhere to the highest standard of confidentiality; and assist with team member education related to communicable diseases. This position may involve additional occupational health nurse duties as assigned by manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse is required.

Experience: Prefer 1+ years’ experience in a nursing field.  Clinical hours can be acceptable for graduate nurses.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.

Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements: Physical requirements include walking through the plant to ensure team member and supervisor compliance with prescribed modified restricted duty requirements. This will include walking up steps and using ladders.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for all functional areas of a prepared foods, 1st processing, 2nd processing, debone, and portioning processing plant including the efficient operation of three production shifts maintenance personnel safety shipping receiving sanitation scheduling quality and process improvement. Other responsibilities include motivating managers to provide guidance and programs to enhance the skill level of their employees resolving issues related to the quality of incoming and outgoing goods and reviewing cost and performance data to help determine areas that need improvement. This position also requires compiling a monthly expense and efficiency report promoting and explaining the TQM philosophy to employees and obtaining approval and executing all capital improvements for plants. Responsible for facilitating the Talent Mapping and Succession Planning Programs and supporting the Retention Program. This position is responsible for food safety food quality and legality. Other duties include initiating discussion and implementation of improvement in all phases of production assisting in identifying evaluating and correcting problems and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor s degree or equivalent.

Experience: Progressive 8 plus years experience. Applicable Experience in Food Processing Industry Preferred.

Computer Skills: This job requires General knowledge of computer programs used in the operation of the production plant like Microsoft office applications Word Excel Power Point outlook working knowledge of SAP systems and ability to build spreadsheets

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Travel: 6 to 11 trips per year. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is responsible for managing several groups of personnel who perform diverse tasks and activities in more than one department.

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for monitoring the sites safety programs. This individual will also maintain records and reports of the plants workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with the company policy and Safety Management System including accidents preventive measures and violations. This position will develop and administer a proactive prevention program for accidents and illnesses. Prepare and review technical reports and forms. The Safety Supervisor will have responsibilities pertaining to safety inspections safety training and compliance with the federal Occupational Safety Health Administration. This position will also provide accurate safety statistical information and analysis to the plant Leadership team as well as communicate results to the sites workforce. This position will provide an opportunity to become a subject matter expert to ensure compliance with Tyson Foods Safety elements. This position reports to the Safety Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting and or facilitating training in areas such as ergonomics emergency response lockout tagout hazard communications etc.

• Identify potential hazards and propose safe work practices to leadership teams

• Provide expertise on hazard identification and risk mitigation processes

• Provide advice and counsel concerning all city state and federal compliance regulations

• Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace

• Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices

• Coordinate the implementation of controls from results of hazard analysis

• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system policies and procedures and recommend changes for hazardous conditions

• Conduct specialized safety training programs to communicate hazard control information

• Assist in new employee safety and environmental orientation

• Perform other related duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Associates Degree in safety or related engineering discipline required.

• Bachelor Degree preferred.

Experience:

• 2 years Safety experience (lockout/tagout knowledgeable) preferred.

• Familiarity of state or local environmental laws to ensure reporting and response to local agencies are met and business interest are protected.

• OHSA 10 Certified a plus

Computer Skills:

• Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook proficiency

Special Skills:

• Strong problem solving skills data driven with and affinity for data management

• Monitor leading and lagging indicators to detect performance trends

• Effective verbal writing skills to present ideas and concepts to diverse audiences from front-line to plant leadership level.
