SELF-EMPLOYED VEHICLE COLLECTION AND DELIVERY DRIVER / TRADE PLATE DRIVER PART/FULL TIME

Here at BCA Logistics, we touch over a million vehicles a year, working with manufacturers, fleet operators and dealers to provide the backbone of the UK's automotive supply chain.

Due to our ever-increasing volumes, we are looking to engage additional Self-Employed Driver contractors throughout the UK who can help us deliver that service.

What do I need? - No experience is needed as a full 2-day technical service familiarisation seminar available, at a site local to you. You do not need your own vehicle and there is no initial outlay of any cost. We do however require the following (essential):

• Held a full UK Manual Driver Licence for at least 2 years (registered to your current home address).
• No more than 9 points on your licence (and no serious motoring offences).
• Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes).
• Are punctual and reliable with a polite and professional demeanour.
• Excellent customer service skills.

What will I be doing? - You will be collecting a variety of different vehicles from clients, checking they are safe for you to drive and delivering these to the required destination. On some occasions you may carry out an inspection on the vehicles.

• Handling vehicles with care and professionalism.
• Keeping clients informed of estimated arrival time and any possible delays.

What you should expect:

- Approximately 48 hours which will be covered over a period of 6 nights
- Sunday-Friday nights
- 3 month fixed term contract
- All products pre-picked ready to load & commence deliveries

Challenges:

- Most of your time at work will be spent alone but you are very much part of the Milk & More team
- Delivering to our customers before 7am, 6 nights a week, as determined by the route for that night

Skills & Experience:

- Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
- Can do attitude with a desire to consistently exceed our customers’ expectations
- You must enjoy working alone and at night and be physically fit to meet the demands of the role

**What you should expect:**

**Your Title:** Home Delivery Driver
**Your Pay:** £11.22 Weekly Pay every Friday!
**Your Shift: 23:00 07:00** Approximately 48 hours which will be covered over a period of 6 nights - Sunday-Friday night
**Your Base Location: Oxford**
**Your Contract Term:** Temp Perm after 12 weeks

**Job Duties:
- ** Deliver totes of fresh produce to customers doorsteps!
- Carry out up to 200 drops per night
- Ensure temperature checks are recorded within the vehicle
- Take special care when collecting/delivering any product stored in glass
- Use a handheld scanner to ensure collections and deliveries are recorded efficiently
- Carry out vehicle checks before and after shift

**As a Person:**
- Must be Physically fit
- Be OK with heavy lifting
- Be OK with working Night Shifts 6 nights per week
- Be flexible with working hours as shift times can occasionally run over
- Be able to manage time well to ensure all drops are completed
- Have a good attention to detail
- Be happy to work in all weather conditions
- Preferably worked night shift before (Desirable)
