We’re currently on a growth path within our group and are after our latest team member to join Know Mitsubishi – our Mitsubishi dealership based in Wantirna South.
Who do we need?
We’re after Automotive Technicians to join our busy Mitsubishi workshop.
The right person (or people) will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and driven to be involved in conducting mechanical tests, diagnoses, repair, service and care for vehicles that visit our business.
You will have professional strong work ethic, have an amazing attitude and the ability to communicate enthusiastically, clearly, concisely, and effectively.
To be considered for this role you MUST:
* Be focused on the customer’s expectations.
* Have the desire to consistently achieve.
* Have a genuine interest in the automotive industry and a willingness to learn.
* Have Qualifications and experience as a Motor Mechanic.
* Have capacity to problem solve issues and find suitable resolutions.
* Have the ability to work unsupervised and be part of a larger team.
* Hold a current driver’s license with the ability to drive manual vehicles.
Above all else, we are looking for someone with the right ATTITUDE!!
What will you be doing?
Through experience you will utilize your skills in:
Maintenance servicing procedures, diagnosis fault finding, repairs of automotive engines, transmissions and other systems within a vehicle. This includes:
* Complete jobs as allocated by the Workshop Controller.
* Diagnosis of engine, electrical, drive train and drivability faults.
* Clock on and off RO’s electronically, so service records and accuracy of productivity and efficiency data can be maintained.
* Road test all vehicles prior to job commencing and after job completion, noting any areas of concern.
* Diagnose and fix any technical problems with the vehicle, consulting with the Workshop Controller of any issues.
* Ensure the Service Advisor and Workshop Controllers are made aware of issues that are outside of normal servicing requirements and where additional work is required so the customer can be contacted and informed of the issues prior to any works being carried out.
* Complete all servicing requirements within manufacturer Guidelines and time frames.
* Prior to commencing a service, read the RO to ensure you are aware of what needs to be completed and liase with the Service Advisor if there are concerns.

Salary range: $70, 000 - $80, 000 per year (Commensurate with skillset and experience)
