The Role:

School Driver Job Description:
· To transport children to and from school during term time, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. If your schedule does not allow you to commit to this, we also have occasional journeys and cover trips;
· To ensure passengers are picked up and dropped off at the specified times and locations;
· To maintain a clean and safe environment at all times;
· To obey all traffic laws at all times;
· Assist students getting in and out of the vehicle if required;
· Attend any company training as required.

Drivers work as part of a team with the Passenger Assistant assigned to the route (where assigned) and are required to develop and maintain good communication with the Passenger Assistant, all members of the organisation, school, and parents.

Conditions required for a driver to work with 247 Airport Transfer:

⦁ PCO and PHV Licences issued by TFL(Transport for London);
⦁ No more than 6 points on your driving licence;

About The Company:

At OCS Group, we are recruiting for a Driver (Multi Drop/Hold Load) - Airport, who will transporting recyclable goods from aircraft to the warehouse central facility in Feltham approx 7 miles distance each way. You will be working on a variable shift pattern between Monday to Sunday, 04:00 to 23:00, 40 hours per week on a permanent full-time basis. Main Duties and Responsibilities: *Loading and unloading, transporting supplies, blanket bags, holdalls, materials, and equipment to and from aircraft.
*You will be responsible for the operational reliability of the vehicle and related daily safety checks.
*Recording timed activities and quantities of stock electronically
*Drive and operate a range of vehicles
The successful candidate will have: *Experience in driving vehicles up to 3.5 tons - essential
*A full clean UK/EU driving B category licence
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
To meet government and security requirements you will need: *A fully checkable reference history to cover the last five years.

Pay Rates: 
£17.82ph – AM Shift.
£19.07ph – PM Shift

Shift Allocation:

AM SHIFT – 05:00-06:00 Starts.
PM SHIFT – 18:00 – 19:00 Start.
Minimum 8hrs per shift.
5 on 3 off shift pattern.

Driver Responsibilities:  
-Delivery of caged goods to Costa Stores across the Southeast and potentially Central London.
-Deliveries will involve handball of caged goods.
8/15 drops per shift.
-Adhering to assigned delivery and collection schedules, following all job directives precisely, will include interacting with dispatchers/customers in a professional and timely manner.
-Follow all required safety policies and procedures. 
-Daily vehicle checks.

Driver Requirements:     
-Cat C Driving Licence, CPC, Digi Tacho.   
-Experience driving HGV2 vehicles.
-No more than 3 points for minor offences.

-Daily vehicle checks with completing relevant paperwork. 
-1 - 3 drops per shift. 

Driver Requirements:
-Valid UK Class 1 license.

-No DR, DD, IN
-Valid Digi card and CPC card. 
-Be able to provide references for the last 5 years.
