Parsons was recently awarded a contract to be a part of PMO organization for a client who is building a semi-conductor manufacturing plant located in Boise, ID. We're looking for talented Project controls resources who are well experienced in cost, schedule and change controls. Previous experience in wastewater treatment plant, data center, process plant is considered a plus.  

This position will require the candidate to be on project site in Boise, Idaho.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Develops, establishes, and maintains all aspects of the cost control effort and/or the planning/scheduling effort on one or more of the larger, more complex and demanding projects. Incumbent utilizes his/her broad experience, expertise, and exposure to various types of company projects and clients.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.
• Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.
• Provides project and company management with the necessary tools for project cost control.

May lead in the:

• Development of the work breakdown structure, interfacing with all affected departments.
• Analysis, evaluation, forecast, and reporting of schedule status against an established baseline
• Analysis, evaluation, and forecast project costs and performance.
• Coordinates staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities, and trains personnel.
• Completes performance reviews and provides personnel development for the assigned employees.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience) and typically 10+ years of related work experience.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

• Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field. Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have potential to perform in a lead capacity, as well as familiarity with industry practices.

Job Description

This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a schedule that will efficiently utilize the available manufacturing resources to meet customer demand and to maintain optimal inventory levels. The production scheduler will utilize MRP as well as knowledge of the manufacturing processes to anticipate and resolve problems and enhance customer service. The position requires the incumbent to communicate clearly and openly with both operations personnel regarding production schedules and the supply chain group regarding capacity and material issues. The incumbent must actively participate in problem solving and process improvements with operations, team members and customer service.  The senior planner will provide mentorship and back-up coverage for other roles within the department including material planning and other process scheduling.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Create and maintain production schedules for each operation to successfully meet customer demand while also optimizing inventory and minimizing machine changeovers.
• Analyse and create operating schedules that support maximizing machine and labor efficiency and efficiently utilize material and storage space resources while meeting customer requirements.
• Manage scheduling and confer with department leads to evaluate production schedule status.
• Communicate daily with internal and external customers as to status of all open orders/jobs.
• Provide management visibility over work-in-progress, material availability, and potential production issues, ensuring that personnel, equipment, tools, materials and services are available as needed.
• Work with internal customers to coordinate schedules and establish priorities when required to prevent customer service issues.
• Make or recommend revisions to planned production schedules as necessary when schedules cannot be met, including preparing back-up schedules.
• Provide solutions, creative and logistical, to problems concerning production, shipments, shortages, changes and cancellation of orders.
• Manage the volume of work orders issued to the floor. Ensure work orders are issued to the floor with both available raw stock and/or capacity available. Utilize a combination of created and released work orders to manage the flow of work sent to production while maintaining a short-term finite schedule.
• Provide mentorship and back up coverage for material planners and production schedulers.
• Lead projects or project steps within a broader project related to capital or customer mix changes.

In this role you will assist motorist on highways with disabled vehicles and provides traffic control and other assistance as needed. This includes changing tires, providing gas, jump starting vehicles, working to maintain safety on the roadways, and other duties.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Patrols designated Honolulu freeway routes and assist stranded motorists by making quick-fix repairs including changing tires, providing gas, jump starting vehicles

Overview:

In this role, you will be engaged in design engineering work and contribute to the successful project delivery for a diverse range of projects in the Southern California region. THE JOB

US Concerts is seeking is seeking a Schedule/Payroll Administrator who will be responsible for ensuring schedules are completed and departments are appropriately staffed for events. In addition, they are responsible for processing and maintaining payroll records in accordance with Live Nation payroll policies.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Ensure all departments are adequately staffed for every event (adequately for each individual staffing level).
• Monitor and manage payroll.
• Accurately submit all hours worked for team members into payroll system for timely processing.
• Actively oversee staffing numbers. In addition, actively monitor attendance numbers and communicate staffing changes to department managers..
• Backup Onboarding-Recruiting Specialist as needed.
• Assist as needed with various shipping and tracking, etc.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Operations Supervisor and Venue Management.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

• 1 years' plus of administrative experience.
• 2-3 years’ plus of work experience in a comparable role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Great attention to detail and ability to work against deadlines.
• Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Develops, manages, and/or executes all phases of the project controls effort (mainly cost management and reporting). Typically manages large-sized projects. The incumbent utilizes widely diversified knowledge of project controls activities, and draws upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the cost management and reporting functions on a large construction development program.

• Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems. 

• Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports. 

• Manages a team of Project Control Engineers/Specialists who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones. 

• Assesses the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages. 

• Oversees the development and maintenance of an established reporting system to show the hierarchy of cost plans and schedules; keeps project and company management fully informed.

• Recommends and oversees the customization of project control reporting systems and reports to meet specific project requirements.

• Creates statistical / cost reports for management on a recurring or ad hoc basis.

• May be required to make informal or formal presentations.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field)

• 20+ years of related experience, including supervisory/managerial experience.

• Strong cost management and reporting background is required.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

• Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related fields.

• Proficient PC skills including a proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Description

Maintain day-to-day planning, ordering and expediting of raw materials and supplies, and then communicate results to all appropriate departments. Schedule and maintain work center schedules to accommodate customer orders.

Job Requirements:

·         High school diploma or equivalent, Associate degree in a related field preferred

·         Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment

·         Proficient computer skills in both word processing and spreadsheet manipulation

·         Knowledge and experience with SAP, MRP and PRMS required

·         Strong and effective negotiating and communicating ability

·         Knowledge and ability to work with and resolve problems regarding stock (delivery, quantity, etc.) with both outside suppliers and internal customers as necessary

·         Strong ability to multitask, prioritize and remain calm in a fast-paced and stressful environment

Responsibilities:

·         Serve as a contact person for sales and customer service

·         Prioritize and manage work center schedule communicating changes and adjustments to appropriate departments and management

·         Input and track travelling requisitions

·         Update and manage coating MRP as necessary

·         Initiate supplier corrective action using supplier feedback forms and verify responses are received

·         Verify Purchase Orders have been received and allocate part numbers and stock items

·         Evaluate and plan authorized purchases and receipts for specified stock and non-stock items

·         Negotiate pricing as needed for coating materials

·         Communicate stock availability, lead time and expedites to Customer Service team and other departments as needed

·         Evaluate, track and record OTIF information

Additional non-essential duties:

·         Act as back up to the materials material purchaser and the graphics department. 

·         All other tasks as assigned
