The position of Business Continuity Planner involves:

• To chair & lead operational meetings to ensure project & information is delivered.

Desirable skills required for Business Continuity Planner:

• Level 4 or above qualification in either Business Continuity, Emergency planning, Risk Management, Business management or similar discipline. Working experience within a logistics business.
• Proven experience in the logistics industry, or demonstrable transferable skill set from an alternative industry.
• Knowledge of BCP professional practices as well as understanding of data analytical and reporting concepts helpful. Knowledge of Operational Resilience is an added advantage.

Essential skills required for Business Continuity Planner:

• Be able to demonstrate administrative and project management skills.
• Organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise work to comply with agreed deadlines and with minimal supervision.

Service Care Solutions have a vacancy for a Voids Operative Driver for a client they are working with based out of Devon on a temporary ongoing contract.

In this position, the Voids Operative Driver will cover parts of Devon as part of a team carrying out Voids and Repairs work.

You will be responsible for assisting other staff in carrying out both void and responsive repairs works by undertaking duties for which no formal trade qualification is required.

The post holder must have a valid licence and experience of driving vehicles up to and exceeding 7.5 tonnes, towing trailers and have experience driving plant machinery, including mini diggers and dumpers.

Core duties will include property clearances, garden clearance and transporting debris arising to landfill sites, general labouring, driving plant and excavations, and semi skilled repairs.

Other duties will comprise of:

1. To carry out clearances of tenants' furniture and belongings, either to the Local Authority transfer station, landfill site, or to a designated store, as instructed by the Voids Supervisor.
2. To demolish and clear away garden sheds and other small external structures.
3. To carry out basic gardening, such as 'strimming' and cutting back shrubs and tree branches.
4. To carry out ground works such as excavating fence post holes and trenches, terracing land, and clearing away excess soil with a mini digger.
5. To undertake general labouring duties such as lifting and mixing of plaster, mortar and concrete and hacking off of defective plaster walls and ceilings.
6. To terminate the water supply and strip out old kitchens ready for the tradesman to replace with new.

This position will involve driving vehicles upto 7.5 ton therefore it is a requirement for you to hold a Class 2/Category C Driving License.

The position of Customer Service Administrator involves:

• You will be required to work closely with our customers to ensure the smooth running of the operation as a whole

Transport Compliance Supervisor

At Gregory Distribution, we are currently seeking a Transport Compliance Supervisor at our Ernesettle site.

The position of Transport Compliance Supervisor involves:

• Reports and liaises with the Transport Manager to ensure Transport, Driver and MHE compliance processes are being followed and implemented correctly.
• Planning vehicle servicing and repair schedules by liaising with both internal and external maintenance providers.
• Assist, conduct and complete investigation's on incidents, accidents for the Transport Manager.
• Monitor & update internal vehicle & driver compliance systems across a range of customer contracts.
• Working alongside the transport/warehouse team to ensure operational compliance requirements are met on a daily basis.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive KPI and reports related to transport, driver and MHE operational compliance.
• Provide driver training reports to support in arranging training and maintenance booking requirements.
• Liaise with the vehicle asset yearly planner, reports for vehicle servicing requirements such us MOT's, loaded brake tests, weight test & LOLER etc.
• Oversee compliance and Health & Safety issues, ensuring all standards are met.
• Provide timely and professional responses to all queries via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
• Conduct driver licence checks using TruLicence.
• Debriefing drivers including going over infringements and ensuring drivers understand the needs of staying compliant with working time directive.
• Complete gate checks with drivers before they leave the depot to ensure we remain compliant.
• Complete Driver licence checks every 6 months as per company policy.
• Training drivers in the use of company phone apps.
• General administration duties to include filing, scanning and data input.

Essential skills required for Transport Compliance Supervisor:

• Proven experience in transport operations and compliance.
• Excellent understanding of DVSA regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with external and internal stakeholders.
• Strong strategic focus and continuous improvement experience.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
• Working to deadlines.
• Solution driven and Flexible approach to your work.
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

The Courier role is key to ensuring that the company principles and ethos are demonstrated at all times, ensuring that the service provided to customers is delivered with speed, passion and a can-do attitude. The working days are Between Monday to Friday and the hours are unto 40 hours per week the start time very from 8am to 9:30am to finish depending on what locations you have on the day this will be on a temporary basis

s a courier driver, you will be measured upon customer satisfaction and completed time definite deliveries and collections. As a frontline representative for the company, you will be required to complete all tasks in a customer focused manner.
