Marine Manager, DPA and CSO
Responsible to the Management for the Group wide Quality Assurance related matters of the Managed Vessels. This includes TMSA and Dry BMS data upkeep and respective statistics.
Monitor the performance and compliance of the Company’s Integrated Management System and to ensure that the Managed Fleet performs to required standards in Navigation and Marine Operations
Implement suitable controls for following areas of vessel operations: Navigation, HSSE, Quality Assurance/ Vetting
Manage the team of Marine Superintendents and Marine Standards Personnel
Oversee the operations on board vessels, dealing with Charterers, Owners, Marine Superintendents, Operations Superintendents.
Liaise with and advise shore-based Vessel Managers regarding the maintenance of and enhancing Safety and Performance standards of the vessels across the fleet.
Supervise and drive the Quality Assurance program for Tankers and Bunker vessels under all DOC offices.
Prepare Group wide statistical analyses on the QA performance of the managed vessels on various aspects. Prepare corresponding presentations.
Offer long term solutions to the Management on various ongoing and upcoming issues affecting Group vessel performance.
Planning and execution of the SIRE/CDI programme across the Group-wide Tanker /Bunker vessel fleet.
Prepare managed vessels for third party inspections such as SIRE/ CDI, Rightship and Safety inspections.
Prepare and upload responses to SIRE, CDI, Rightship and Safety inspections for managed vessels.
Oversee the development and implementation of procedures to ensure compliance with relevant requirements and regulations.
Improve the safety and performance of our managed vessels by raising the safety awareness of all personnel through communication and training
Perform the role as an Internal Auditor for the managed Fleet of Vessels and various offices.
Participate in shore-based seminars as resource speaker covering various ongoing and upcoming issues.
Requirements:
Master Mariner Qualification
At least 5 years sea-going experience in a Senior role on tankers
Minimum of 5 years shore-based experience and carrying out tasks mentioned above
Clear understanding of the implementation requirements of SIRE 2.0, TMSA, Dry BMS, RISQ
Ability to present, implement and gain acceptance of nautical, quality, health, safety, security, and environmental protection initiatives
Strong motivation to engage with clients effectively.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to inspire and persuade, with confident interpersonal skills suitable for interactions with colleagues and clients across various levels.
