You will be required to:

• Perform pre-flight operations and post-flight operations on all training devices and complete the necessary documentation.
• Perform all preventive maintenance works and corrective maintenance works on all training devices as assigned.
• Respond to customers' training needs in a courteous and timely manner to ensure that the required reliability and availability of all training devices are met consistently.

• Assist in diagnosis on all training devices to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components where possible.

You would ideally possess:

• Diploma or University bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (Aviation, Electronics, Automation, Mechanical etc).
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment on a 12 Hour rotating shift (Day/Night) roster.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics of electronics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Analytical thinking, with a high level of responsibility and ownership.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team and have a result-oriented mindset.
• Experience in using and repairing PLC, electronics and computer equipment is advantageous.
• Experience in working with simulators or a similar field is advantageous.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Follow up pricing enquires from overseas and ad-hoc project inquiry.
• To plan, direct & facilitate consolidation via SIN gateway based on situational scenarios.
• Assist in project management, business planning, service improvements & strategy development with the objective to provide progressive leadership for the workgroup, exceed service commitments & customer satisfaction, generate revenues and achieve long-term profitability.
• Support Pricing desk and Gateway arrangement.
• To assist the Load Planner to communicate, coordinate, monitor all airline space and warehouse activities.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set strategy at area of control, create short term & long term plans for operational needs.
• Support Air Gateway Lead assigned tasks. Formulate, implement & review contingency plans to support overall operations & individual areas of operations.
• Provide direction & support for resolution of pricing issues, establish & execute service contracts, review customers’ feedback & initiate improvement measures.
• Initiate & plan long-term service enhancement projects, evaluate short-term & long-term results; assist in new operations development & initiatives in order to ensure continuous improvements at areas of control.

Academic:

Experience & knowledge:

• Screening the LC swift and advise LC workability/ambiguous clause for LC amendment.
• Send request to Surveyor to prepare split Survey Reports based on Split B/L
• Receive Survey report (from Surveyor) & OBLS (from carrier).
• Send Survey report/OBL copy to customer to receive back up LOI. Sales should send the document copies to the customers.
• Confirmed LOI/s to be sent to Vessel Operators to facilitate Discharge of shipment at POD in lieu of OBL
• Prepares draft Documents as per L/Cs and confirmed Quantities
• Make COO from Chamber of Commerce Basis doc requirements
• Make draft LOI basis confirmed BL/back up LOI and share with customer process owners for approval.
• Collect Original BLs from the carrier.
• Obtain COO from COC, prepare CMI, PKL, SR, drafts etc.
• Arabic COO to be submitted for GCC shipments.
• Kuwait Certificate of origin to be submitted whenever required.
• Consolidate the Documents as per LC and Dispatch to the customer Nominated Bank/s to share the Non-Negotiable documents to CSR
• To follow up with Nominated Bank for clean document confirmation
• To follow up for courier AWB No to be shared with CSR
