The Job
- Review and Process Loan Applications under Hire Purchase, Credit Loans and other loan products which involves meticulously reviewing loan applications, verifying information provided by applicants, and assessing their creditworthiness.
- You'll be responsible for preparing all necessary loan documentation accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements under hire purchase act and company policies.
- Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements is paramount in the financial industry. You'll need to stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure all loan documentation meets these standards.
- In charge of document filling and data entry to ensure record accuracy in the Enterprise Resources Planner (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Require to contact customers, vendors, suppliers and partners for issues pertaining to discrepancies, short fall or overdue payment, collection arrangements by using collecting techniques email, letter, phone call and WhatsApp.
- Responsible for minimizing defaults and bad debts cases for ongoing instalment plan.
- Monitor aging reports to update management in the status of difficult cases for liability or settlement issues.
- Engage close interactions, coordinating with inter-department and external customers to ensure smooth day to day operations.
- Ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Minimum qualification Diploma with 2 years’ experience in Hire Purchase in vehicle loan, other loan products and credit control experience.
- Strong in English, able to write, type and speak fluently.
- Similar experience in the automotive industry and credit/loan experience is an advantage
- Fast in response and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- A flexible, resilient mindset and can-do attitude
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
