What You'll Be Doing:
Navigate the Seas: Assist in managing FCL full load container movements from China, the US, and beyond to the UK.
Global Connections: Liaise with our Westbound China offices and local UK suppliers.
Customs Maestro: Work with our Customs Department to arrange clearances.
Warehouse Wizard: Coordinate with our own and third-party warehouses.
Delivery Dynamo: Organize final deliveries with local transport companies.
Documentation Guru: Handle import customs entries and Bills of Lading.
What We Need:
Phone Pro: Great telephone manner and not afraid to chat.
Customer Service Savvy: Some experience in customer service is a plus.
Team Player: Join a tight-knit team of three, including a Supervisor.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with FCL (Forward Computers Freight System), Destin8/CNS systems, Google Docs, and
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 08:30 to 17:30 with a 1-hour lunch break.
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive Pay: £24k to £28k, depending on experience.
Probation Period: 6 months with a 3-month review.
