Supply Teaching Assistant
We are currently looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to support in our schools and units across Berkshire. Working hours are during school hours Monday to Friday.
Job Duties:
• Assist Teachers in Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies for students with special education needs (SEN)
• Provide one–on–one support to students in their learning activities.
• Organise and maintain classroom resources and materials.
• Monitor and track student progress and behaviour.

Supply SEN Teaching AssistantJob Type – Temp | Temp to Perm | Full Time
Shift and Schedule – Day shift| Monday – Friday
Start date – ASAP Location – Epsom We have a supply SEN Teaching Assistant role available. Working with students between the ages of 4 -19 who have complex, social communication needs and autism. The role will include; The Teaching Assistant role will support the work of a qualified teacher and, under an agreed system of supervision, have responsibility for agreed learning activities.Key areas of the role will include:
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the school’s SEN policy.
• Co-ordinate provision for children with SEN.
• Liaise with the relevant designated teacher where a looked after pupil has SEN.
• Advise on graduated approach to the provide Additional SEN Support.
• Ensure that the records of all children with SEN are kept up to date.
• Liaise with parents of children with SEN.
• Liaise with early years providers and secondary schools, educational psychologists, health, social care and independent or voluntary bodies who may be providing SEN support and advice to a child and their family.
• Act a key point of contact with external agencies and support services.
• Liaise with potential next providers of education to ensure a young person and their parents are informed about options and a smooth transition is planned.
