About the Role
WE ARE LOOKING FOR...
University students who are curious about insurance industry, open-minded to accept new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Internship Period: 11 June 2024 to 16 August 2024
The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.
What you will learn and develop:
Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Group Distribution
In the Business Development, Group Agency Distribution Team, you may be involved in:
- Supporting management report preparation
- Supporting agency data analysis
- Supporting cross-functional initiatives and collaborations, e.g., ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and BCM (Business Continuity Management)
- Supporting the planning & execution of regional programs and LBU initiatives (as needed)
In the Agency Operations & Digitalisation, Group Agency Distribution Team, you may be involved in:
- Assisting in maintaining SharePoint structures
- Supporting production of regular reports
- Supporting Agency Share Purchase Plan (ASPP) activities
- Assisting in the co-ordination and communication of agency recognition and awards
- Supporting agency digitalisation initiatives
In the Group Distribution Office, you may be involved in:
- Working closely with Group Distribution Event Management team to manage the planning and execution of regional events held by Group Distribution
- Collaborating with Group Distribution stakeholders to source and analyze event options to optimize budget spending and resource allocation
- collaborating with external event organizers and vendors
- Supporting post-event tasks, including reporting and expenses tracking
- Supporting Group Distribution Reporting team on various reporting matters
What you will need:
- Students from all background and field of study who are in your penultimate year of study
- Excellent teammate and curious learner
- Ability to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast paced work environment
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Strong digital literacy required, proficient in Microsoft Office
