We are looking for a Supply Chain Logistics Intern to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to VP of Global Commodity Management and based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the management of sourcing, procurement and inventory of Bloom’s commodities
- Conducting market research
- Analyzing supplier capabilities
- Create and identify process improvements
- Use new AI tools to automate processes for commodity managers
- Support cross functional teams by participating in supplier evaluations.
Skills and Experience:
- Enrollment at a top university; minimum 3.0 GPA
- Pursuing a degree in data science, supply chain management
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Data management, and data analysis skills
- Experience with using AI or ML tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take direction and multi-task
- Efficient, effective and well organized
- Respectful, open, collaborative and transparent inter-personal skills; team-work oriented
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Premium
