Retail & Asset Solutions are currently seeking motivated, professional and flexible individuals to complete stock counts for well-known retailers, on a casual contract-basis across the UK. As an Independent Retail Stock Counter, you will be required to:

The Role

• We are looking for Retail Stock Assistant / Car Share Driver to add to our already successful team as part of a car share team.
• Work will be carried out on different Retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. Sunday to Thursday
• You will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and during the night when required. As a result, we can only accept applicants 18 years and over
• You must have a full Driving License or be able to make your own way to and from sites using public transport.
• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.

Technician in Motor Vehicle
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Within the range of £22,071 to £25,041 per year

This is an exciting opportunity to work at Suffolk New College as a Technician within the Motor Vehicle field. You will be required to provide a range of technical advice, support and practical assistance to our staff and students. You will be responsible for preparing, maintaining the equipment and materials within the practical workspaces, alongside ensuring safe working practices.

As part of your role you will contribute to the wider College health and safety activity and therefore you should have a good understanding of health and safety and be prepared to undertake training in these areas e.g. first aid and fire marshall.

You will need to have an organised and methodical approach to ensure the smooth operations of the workspaces in order to support the delivery of an exceptional student experience. You will be able to communicate and engage with a range of audiences including young people and will work well both in a team and on your own initiative.

You should have a good standard of education including Maths and English at level 2 (GCSE 4/C) and a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject. The role will involve working in the Motor Vehicle area and therefore a specialism in Motor Vehicle and the supporting practical skills is required for the role.

Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
