The Role

The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for the management and execution of the planning regime for selected categories through our supply chain to meet the service expectations of the growing 7-Eleven store network. The objective of this being to lead in-store product availability and support the resolution of demand and supply issues across our network.

With a focus on improving product availability and customer service without compromising working capital and efficiency, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the consensus demand plan, inventory and replenishment plans with consideration of the impacts to the category ambitions.

• Build the consensus demand, inventory and replenishment plan incorporating historical analysis & market insight gathered in conjunction with the Category & Marketing teams.
• Collate and distribute forecasts, generate & input to information decks for relevant meetings within the S&OP process.
• Review validity of the information and planning process, validate consistency with category and marketing plans and identify any anomalies or exceptions.
• Ensure that all the planning specific supply chain processes are coordinated to ensure effective and successful delivery of products to the stores.
• Monitor availability issues and devise solutions for the identified issues, escalating where required and appropriate.

What’s in your toolkit? 

• Experience in demand and/or supply planning, preferably within a retail environment
• Good business acumen and an understanding of the inter-relationships between each function
• Proven ability in solving demand and supply related issues working with internal and external stakeholders

• Independently developing assigned styles / collections in cooperation with Design / Product Line Management / Team Head Development / other Puma Group Sourcing (PGS) functions and Garment Suppliers

• Responsible for supporting new program launches, supplier audits, and systemic supplier quality issues.

Perform process audits and monitor quality control plans to ensure acceptable quality levels are being satisfied. • Leads supplier AQP and component review meetings/activities. Formulate and manage weekly quality summary and analysis

YOUR TALENT

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field. Or a combination of education and manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years previous experience working in a manufacturing environment. Golf industry experience is a plus. Quality assurance/ control experience or related technical field

The Project Scheduler will lead the planning & scheduling efforts on multiple high impact projects. This role will also actively contribute to Corporate Initiatives including, but not limited to, training development and delivery, data analytics, trend identification and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement accepted Planning & Scheduling Best Practices 

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and statements of work in the preparation and acceptance of usable Baseline schedules for construction

• Monitor multiple project schedules being developed and updated by Operations staff and provide guidance as necessary

• Interact with the Operations team and represent Clark and its partners in the best manner to owners, subcontractors, and their representatives

• Support the development of conceptual bid and proposal schedules with executive management and present to selection committees if required

• Utilize analytics to identify and report on project trends

• Effectively cost and manpower load schedules for use during the execution of the project

• Evaluate the actual construction status relative to proposed plan

• Analyze and communicate the impact of changes to the schedule

• Prepare Time Impact Analyses per recommended practices by commonly accepted standards

• Travel to project sites.

• Develop and deliver specialized Planning, Scheduling and other Project Controls training for Clark Corporate University

• Critique, create, and recommend improvements to departmental policies and procedures.

• Be responsible for special projects and other departmental duties as necessary

Basic Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline preferred

• 3+ years scheduling experience on commercial construction projects

• Proven success implementing strategic initiatives

• Detail oriented and can manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment with minimal guidance

• Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships with owners, subcontractors, senior leaders and project teams

• High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera (P6) software

What You Will Do:

• Support the development of high-quality client deliverables that meet client requirements.

• Provide day-to-day delivery support.

• Support activities with the client engagement team

• Develop detailed project schedules to monitor performance.

• Identify and manage project risks and issues.

• Solution implementation and critical problem solving.

• Develop detailed status reports for individual programs.

• Work with diverse stakeholders to fully understand business requirements and interdependencies.

• Work with stakeholders to help keep projects on time and within budget.

• Support the facilitation of client meetings, work groups, or interviews.

What You Will Need:

• 1+ years of management consulting experience, preferably within the public sector

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

• Ability to thrive in client service and team-based environments, especially when tackling unstructured problems.

• Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and ability to self-prioritize multiple activities.

• Candidates within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office may be required to work a hybrid work schedule instead of 100% remote.

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card holder. Ability to obtain Public Trust Clerance.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• PMP or other project or program management certification

• Experience with transformational programs

• Experience working with Federal, state, or local transportation organizations.

A case study will be used as part of the interview process. - If selected for an interview, you will complete a case study that the interviewer will present verbally. You will be asked to respond to a series of scenarios. You will need your laptop to perform the interview.
