Class 1 Drivers on Nights immediate starts in Tewkesbury

Pure Staff are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers working on Nights for the following role below.

HGV Class 1 Drivers required immediately for temporary work for a client who specialises in distributing fresh milk and dairy products across the whole of the UK. Our customer in Tewkesbury is one of our largest clients based in the Gloucestershire area and are well known for treating their drivers well from previous and current positive feedback.

This family run business is looking for drivers to join their smoothly ran operation on a temporary basis.

The customer is looking for HGV Class 1 Driver's on Nights who are flexible to work Monday-Friday and weekends.

Our client will be accepting HGV Class 1 Drivers who fit the criteria listed below:

Duties of a Class 1 Drivers working on Nights-

• Easy trunking to an RDC
• Store deliveries of cages
• Up to 10 drops if carrying out store deliveries
• Flexibility to work different contracts
• The ability to undertake manual handling

The ideal HGV Class 1 driver will -

• Have a valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
• 6 Months experience is preferred but not essential
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Card
• Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.

Start times can vary but we are looking for Class 1 Drivers on Nights who are available to start around 17.00. Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.

Pay rates-

Nights: £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY

Weekends & Bank Holidays: £19.00 per hour PAYE ONLY

Class 1 Driver - £17 - £20ph - Days or Nights available

Pure Staff are currently looking for a Class 1 Drivers to work DAYS or NIGHTS in the Berkeley Gloucestershire area.

We have vacancies for ADHOC drivers as well as ONGOING 4 on 4 off patterns.

Pay rates (PAYE)

• Days Monday to Friday £17ph
• Nights Monday to Friday £18ph
• Weekends £20h

You will receive in addition to this rate holiday pay, which is paid separate as annual leave for any time booked off.

Pure Staff do NOT work with Umbrella or LTD company contractors

Shifts can be between 10 to 12 hours.

Start times vary between 05:00 - 10:00 for days

start times vary between 16:00 - 20:00 for nights

The job itself consists of multiple contracts that this client subcontracts into. It could involve General haulage or Palletised goods.

For the General Haulage and Palletised goods there will be NO HANDBALL. The customer will forklift on and off. However, there might be the odd customer where the use of an electric pumptruck may be needed.

There will be a stop call wait procedure with all clients to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.
