Job Description

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a prominent local authority in London for a dedicated and skilled Supply Assurance Manager. This role will focus on managing the local authority's supply chain assurance, financial systems, and complex data analytics to support high-level operational production. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making, identifying cost efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards. Main responsibilities

• Conduct and manage supply chain assurance, financial systems analysis, and analytics for high-level operational production. Oversee data-driven insights and complex supply maintenance activities, flagging any operational concerns in a business partner approach.
• Generate, analyse, and present key metrics, performance indicators, and reports across procurement, contracts, risk assessments, and spend analysis. Ensure data is accurate, secure, and accessible, leveraging digital tools to present user-friendly insights for organisational stakeholders.
• Track budgets, spending, and variances while identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Support strategic decision-making through financial appraisals, savings analysis, and total cost of ownership evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, legislative, and governance standards in supply management. Maintain compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and community-focused initiatives.
• Design and deliver guidance, training, and presentations for users on procurement and supply functions. Tailor materials to ensure alignment with governance, audit requirements, and organizational policies, promoting best practices across the procurement field.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant qualification at Ofqual Level 5 (e.g., HND or higher) or equivalent professional accreditation. Desirable qualifications include personnel or project management certification from CMI, ILM, APM, or similar.
• Proven experience in financial management and e-invoicing systems within a large organisation, with hands-on work in supply assurance, analytics, and fraud management.
• Advanced skills in data analysis, dashboard creation, and managing systems/databases to drive innovation and support corporate objectives.
• Demonstrated success in managing dispersed teams, delivering complex projects on time, and motivating staff to achieve performance targets.
• Strong ability to address and resolve complex issues diplomatically, ensuring policy implementation and effective communication with stakeholders.

The Senior Air Quality Analyst is responsible for supporting the development of research, insights, and innovations in the areas of ethical AI (Artificial Intelligence), air pollution, environment, and health on behalf of Trilateral Research.



This role will be a thought leader and participate in/lead multiple projects on behalf of Trilateral in addition to representing our offering externally, including business development. In collaboration with peers, this position provides direction and supports the development of innovation and research projects related to air quality and net zero.


Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Sales & Networking

Drive business development efforts and develop key client accounts and relationships to support cross-selling activities, both internally and externally, e.g., with Microsoft and AWS.
Represent Trilateral in related networks, events, conferences, working groups and activities that allow for the demonstration of expertise, building a respective and recognisable brand towards target markets.
Liaise with marketing to support and nurture appropriate marketing efforts to develop brand awareness across target markets.


Subject Matter Expertise within Product Development & Innovation

Required education and experience

Essential:

Existing network in relevant space to support the uptake of our offering.


Desirable:

PhD qualification in related subject matter area.

What you’ll be doing

You will also be preparing quotes to secure new business.

Who we’re looking for
You’ll already have solid experience working in air quality at Principal Consultant level or you’ll be an ambitious Senior Consultant ready to step up to the next level. You’ll have a collaborative and consultative approach, be good at developing relationships and be confident and decisive. Ideally, you'll have been educated to degree level or equivalent within a relevant subject (e.g. physics, chemistry, mathematics, environmental science, geography) and be a full Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management.

You’ll be highly knowledgeable across all the main environmental air quality areas: atmospheric dispersion modelling (such as ADMS Roads, ADMS 5 and/or AERMOD), air quality/dust monitoring and always up to date with current methods, legislation, guidance and standards. You’ll have significant experience in assessing the air quality impacts on human health and ecology. We’re also interested in candidates with experience of assessments for carbon capture and storage technologies using amines.

We'll need you to be numerically proficient, IT literate and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will have substantial experience of analysing data using spreadsheets and GIS mapping tools.


Good financial and project management skills are essential, as are great influencing and communication skills that enable you to build, maintain and consolidate strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and external bodies. You will demonstrate the potential to appear and speak at committees, informal hearings, and examinations in public.
