Qualifications & experience
- Minimum Nitec/Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Meticulous and analytical, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics protocols and databases to support the various projects.
- Oversee the inventory control for receiving, storage, and distribution of goods that includes construction materials, PPE and different types of cables/equipment, after the project managers have approved on the material requests.
- Work together with the project managers to comprehend the needs of the project and make sure that the planning, forecasting, and level of goods in stock are aligned.
- Monitor procurement and/or work orders received and follow up closely on the delivery dates and quantity to be fulfilled.
- Perform regular checks and audits as and when required, to make sure all processes and procedures adhere to the Company's standards.
- Ensure all logistics-related documents are stored and filed properly.
- Maintain proper housekeeping practices at all times.
- Will require to travel between projects when needed.
