Multi-drop Delivery Van Driver - Inverness
Are you a reliable and motivated driver with a passion for providing excellent customer service? We are seeking a Multi-drop Delivery Van Driver to join our team in Inverness!
What We Offer:
Rate of pay: £13.42 per hour
Hours of work: Mon-Fri 07.30 - 17.30
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Key Responsibilities:
- You'll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered.
- You'll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next.
- The role will be physically demanding, where you'll be walking at least 8 miles per day. You will also be required to carry a bag that can weigh up to 16kg, delivering letters and parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg.
- Driving and on foot delivery will be required, and you will be required to push/pull a trolley during deliveries.
- Working outdoors
Requirements:
- A full, clean UK driving licence (minimum 12 months experience)
- Must be able to pass a Disclosure Scotland check
- Strong knowledge of Inverness and surrounding areas
- Excellent time-management skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
- Previous delivery experience is a bonus but not essential
