The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a Major Command (MAJCOM) Airfield Information Analyst for Air Mobility Command (AMC) who manages and directs airfield suitability operations, and who also researches, reviews, gathers, documents and evaluates aeronautical information, and makes updates and recommendations regarding airfield suitability and operating restrictions for AMC aircraft conducting worldwide missions.

• Accomplishes command airfield suitability assessment and review processes.
• Manages and operates the command airfield help desk.
• Controls, updates and manages information and communications vital to Air Mobility Command (At'1C) airfield suitability.
• Technical advisor to command staff regarding airfield suitability and associated information, restrictions and remarks.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of applicable publications, operating instructions and policy documents required to accomplish command airfield suitability processes.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve as special advisor to the AMC/A3 and Mobility Guardian planning and execution staffs with responsibility for planning, directing, organizing and exercising control over Mobility Guardian planning and execution.

DUTIES:

1. Leads, plans, organizes, administers and directs the activities of the Mobility Guardian Staff, ensuring that financial management, budget, computer support, personnel management and manpower activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet security and developmentally needs of the population served.
2. Exercise supervisory personnel responsibilities.
3. Provides advice and assistance to HQ AMC leaders and international officials regarding manpower, financial management, budget, real estate and computer support to effectively meet current and long-range program goals and objectives.
4. Participates in community activities, conducts and attends briefings, meetings and conferences with local organizations (i.e. Chambers of Commerce, Kiwanis, etc.) to support the exercise.
5. Provides overall management and direction of facilities for Mobility Guardian and any other assigned special events in support of the exercise.

• Works with the Director of Operations, Air Mobility Command in planning, organizing, and overseeing activities designed to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data elements to identify and characterize safety related trends in aviation/mobility operations.
• Makes periodic and comprehensive assessment and evaluation of organizational goals and objectives to provide a basis for long-range planning to enhance the organization's management capabilities.
• Represents the directorate at higher levels within the organization and with other organizations.
• Participates with the Division Chief in the exercise of supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
