As a Trailer Service Technician you will be responsible for performing inspections, service, and repairs on dry van type trailers.
Additional duties:
Diagnosing failures and making repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a trailer
Discussing the nature of the difficulty with the driver(s)
Using hydraulic jacks or hoist, to gain access to the underside of the unit and to aid in the removal or replacement of assemblies such as springs, axles, landing gear, and brakes, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of Trailer Mechanic experience
ASE electrical or Air Brake System certification
Training and certification in electrical welding of steel and/or aluminum
Training in repair of hydraulic lift gates
Training in repair of refrigeration/heater units
Pay Rate: 27.75 - 31.75 per hour, based on experience
