We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic science graduate to grow and enhance our large and successful science team as a result of recent increases in the uptake of science courses post-16, Psychology at KS4 and pupil intake in KS3.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Teacher of Science to join our large and successful Science department. You will need to demonstrate a love of the subject and a commitment to team work and making a difference to the lives of young people. This is an exciting opportunity for either an ECT, or an experienced teacher looking to further their practice.

The successful candidate will be someone who believes that all students can achieve highly and is prepared to support learners who are ambitious and keen to succeed.

Our Academy Trust currently consists of two independent schools, six selective, and five non selective academies. The King Edward VI Academy Trust Birmingham (“the Academy Trust”) was established in 2017 and is made up of the academies outlined above. The academies receive back office central support services including governance, from the Foundation Office (a central support services function), with several staff being seconded from the Foundation to deliver support services to the Academy Trust and the academies themselves.

Our highly focused five-year strategy aims to build on our existing strengths and heritage and deliver our ambitious growth strategy which aims to bring in a further five academies over the next five years.
