This Intelligence Research Specialist (Liaison Intelligence Coordinator) position is located in the Intelligence Division, Office of National Security Intelligence (NN), Intelligence Community Integration Section (NNI) in Chantilly, VA - which will support the Special Operations Division (SOD) & the Office of Special Intelligence (NS).

This is a Temporary Promotion NTE 3 years. If selectee is promoted into this position, he/she will return to their former grade at the end of the 3 years and be reassigned to an equivalent position in a different location.

Among other duties, the incumbent will perform the following:

• Assist Intelligence Community (IC) officials in determining the state of collection, analysis, or intelligence operations resource gaps;
• Provide assessments of Special Intelligence production for DEA objectives and value to address foreign threats to homeland security, identifying, and formulating strategies to mitigate gaps;
• Review and interpret policies, guidelines, methods and procedures associated with the evaluation and analysis of data classification, declassification, and protection of classified national sensitive information;
• Perform routine intelligence research functions by maintaining situational awareness of significant issues affecting national intelligence counternarcotic and transnational crime issues related to the U.S. homeland security and the broader community;

The Director of Institutional Research and Assessment is responsible for developing, leading, and managing a comprehensive institutional research and assessment program at the college level. As the program lead for institutional research, assessment and accreditation, he or she provides direction for data governance strategies and policies, assessment policies and practices, accreditation compliance and institutional reporting. More specifically, the Director will:

Institutional Research

1. Contribute to the management of the program for data analytics;

As a Biological Science Technician (Fisheries) within the Eastern Ecological Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:

• Assist in ecological investigations on a river/stream, in a boat, wet lab, unheated flume/hatchery facility or other field environment.
