Working Pattern:
36 hours per week/39 weeks per year
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.12pm with a 30 minute unpaid break
Start Date - ASAPWe have an exciting opportunity for a Science Technician to join the team at Howard of Effingham School. As with all of our Support Staff roles at the Howard, this role ultimately supports students by leading or working as part of a team of technicians servicing laboratories, preparing materials and equipment for demonstrations and practical lessons as requested by teaching staff.
They will provide technical support including Health & Safety guidance to pupils and experienced and trainee teachers including whilst assisting in practical classes and carrying out demonstrations.

Science Technician Salary in the range of SESSET 4 FTE £22,647 - £24,641 (actual £19,107 - £20,790) 36 hours per week. 8am – 4pm Term time only An enthusiastic and organised individual is required to join our friendly team. You would be providing essential support to teaching colleagues and students within the Science department through the preparation of experiments for science lessons and maintenance of equipment and lab apparatus. A scientific background would be helpful, but full training will be given. The closing date is 9am Friday, 30th August, however, we reserve the right to appoint before the closing date.
