What skills and experience we're looking for
Required for January 2025, an enthusiastic, well-qualified TEACHER OF COMPUTER SCIENCE to join a strong department in a vibrant and supportive school. Computer Science is taught by an enthusiastic and specialist team who embrace new challenges to build upon the department’s popularity with pupils. We are proud of the diverse curriculum that caters for the wide interests of our ambitious students. An ability to teach Maths would be an advantage. Our departmental curriculum includes courses in both GCSE Computer Science and a Technical Award in Interactive Media at KS4, along with A Level Computer Science and a Level 3 BTEC in Information Technology in the Sixth Form.
Gillingham School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children.
