Job Description

The Signature Research Programme in Health Services & Systems Research (“HSSR”) in Duke-NUS Medical School is a centre of academic excellence for research and education on the organisation, funding and delivery of health services. The programme’s focus is on public health and clinical service innovation in an increasingly complex and connected world. The major research focus of HSSR is the organisation and delivery of health and social services in the context of an ageing population. The research methods include decision science and simulation modelling, survey research, qualitative research, health economics, and implementation science and evaluation. The Digital Health Accelerator (DHA) is led by A*STAR, Ministry of Health (MOH) Singapore, SingHealth, National Healthcare Group (NHG), and National University Health System (NUHS). Role reports to: Technical Delivery Senior Manager Asia Pacific

What you will do

The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for executing key R&D projects and critical deliverables in partnership with the end-to-end R&D team to drive innovation with technical rigor, and execution excellence. This role will execute a defined work scope and support problem solving across key R&D technical deliverables. This role will coordinate across various R&D teams to drive collaboration and E2E visibility. This role will strategically deliver innovation and technical projects from start to completion with a deep understanding of our business, our consumers, and technical project requirements.Lead a cohesive approach to marketing deployment across clusters/ region, embedding principles of science of brand growth, aligned to Global Growth brand plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the delivery of complex projects to support business objectives and priorities
• Collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the innovation process and identify barriers to executional excellence
• Ensure day-to-day follow-ups from project discussions, including driving execution of project brief updates, developing project plans, milestones, and resourcing requirements
• Track and manage day-to-day project technical progress to ensure E2E visibility to key stakeholders
• Execute identified work plans in partnership across R&D key stakeholders
• Support risk mitigation on key projects once identified
• Leverage data to evaluate project success against key metrics
• Manage R&D project team meetings to ensure technical milestones are achieved
• Manage technical resources and budget allocation for projects

• Minimum of a completed bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science field
• Minimum 6 years of business experience in managing or leading complex technical projects
• Experience in working in cross-functional teams
• Experience in the consumer goods industry or research and development
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable challenging the status quo to drive for better outcomes
• Skilled at driving difficult conversations

Desired Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Previous experience with agile methodologies

• Ensure timely and successful delivery of the project within budget through the management and control of project risk, scope, schedule, budget and quality
• Manage internal and external stakeholders such as the technical team, NSTIC management, universities, other government agencies and the industry
• Documenting and reporting of project progress and outcomes
• Support other operational activities in the centre

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor or Masters in any engineering / project management related discipline
• At least 3 years of project management experience in semiconductor/microelectronics/photonics or research project
• PMP certifications or equivalent will be advantageous
• Good business acumen, driven to deliver customer requirements and project deadlines
• Proactive team player and technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver to internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
