Job Description
Operations
● Responsible for end-to-end project management including preparation, scheduling and progress, client management, project costing and control, closure and billing collection
● Participating in and providing direction to the field operations team, to achieve a mutual understanding of scopes
● Supervising, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure highest professional standards and timeliness in delivery in compliance with relevant approvals and regulations
● Plan and organise the allocation of resources eg. manpower and materials to fulfill scope and meet clients’ needs.
● Source and build good partnerships with suppliers and sub-contractors
● Identify inefficiencies in current workflows, propose innovative solutions, and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and safety
● Ensure that projects are properly documented for financial, safety and quality reporting to management, and audits
● Ensuring that each member of the team is receiving the information they need to fulfil their responsibilities and that they do their part to maintain information so that it is current
Sales
● Develop, enhance and maintain the company’s relationship with the clients’ relevant POC such as the Chief Engineers, etc. to produce strategic long term partnerships
● Maintain market and segment awareness to identify business opportunities and propose approaches to manage market forces, to identify and offer relevant service solutions
● Drive initiatives to achieve wins in both new clientele and profits
● Oversee the full sales contract cycle from negotiating, drawing up, signing and managing execution and completion of the contract including project and client relationship management
● Set and ensure team and individual sales goals are on track
● Conduct site surveys with the project team to appreciate ground situation and issues in support of the quotation process.
Requirements
● Diploma / BSc degree holder in Building Science, Engineering or related fields from a recognized university
● Proficient knowledge in building and construction works with detailed knowledge for building processes
● Min 5-8 years experience in sales or built environment project work
● Good teamwork and communication skills
● Good planning and time management skills
● Fast learner and ability to adapt to division evolution
● A dynamic, positive and forward-thinking personality with the ability to work under time pressure
