As a Physical Scientist (Senior R&D Analyst), you will:

- Work with Division Manager, Analysts, Project Managers, external stakeholders, and team members from different areas of expertise to determine appropriate work and test procedures for materials used in currency such as inks, papers, and special substrates.
- Plan and perform investigations to develop new methods and means of validating findings. Isolates unknown and novel conditions to develop methods and assessment techniques.
- Determine data required and personally, or in concert with data review and analysis personnel, determine the accuracy required to permit meaningful statistical interpretation of test results and what degradation may result from poor data.
- Serve as a Designated Laboratory Representative and custodian of laboratory equipment.

As a Sr. Validation Engineer supporting Manufacturing Science & Technology, you will be trusted to work on design, develop, and implement new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of goods at Sinking Spring, PA.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Use principles based on validation and risk management tools (e.g. FMEA) to lead in the development and maintenance of Validation Master Plan(s)/Validation document(s)for process, systems, cleaning, and packaging.
• Maintain the validation program for the manufacturing site in liaison with corporate/industry standards.
• Establish and maintain an overview of the state of validation for assigned projects and product platforms and assist in establishing the project prioritization including leading resources for validation efforts.
• Be responsible for the translation of critical quality attributes and critical process parameters into a focused risk-based approach for validation.
• Collaborate with internal partners, including Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure alignment and consistency to validation procedures and timelines.
• Support engineering activities, (e.g. support the Change Control creation) to ensure appropriate validation work is clearly defined resulting from technical changes.
• Serve as the Lead validation representative for all internal, external, or regulatory inspections/audits to ensure site readiness in support of successful inspections e.g. no critical observations related to validation activities.
• Lead commissioning, qualification, and validation activities related to medical device manufacturing and facility systems including custom automation equipment
• Build validation protocols such as FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ ensuring compliance with regulatory compliance and industry standards as needed
• Develop and implement measurement systems analysis protocol including Gage R&R (GR&R) and Attribute Agreement Analysis (AAA).
• Analyze validation data, generate validation reports, and detail any deviations or non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
• Stay up to date with current regulations, industry trends, and technological advancements in validation practices, ensuring compliance and suggesting process improvements when appropriate.
• Mentor and guide junior validation engineers, promoting professional development and collaboration.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6yrs; M.S.+0 yrs.)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Operate equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes.
• Complete the batch records and associated documentation
• Work in a coordinated, computerized manufacturing environment. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards. Tasks are completed in compliance with all regulatory requirements
• May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to improve program quality, cost, and scheduling

The CSS Operation at Leidos is seeking a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment with a team of Cyber Engineers in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, prototyping, design, development, integration, and test tasks to develop capabilities against various networking devices.  This work will leverage your ability to deconstruct and tear-down of a variety of hardware and software, focusing on network devices and technologies, and developing capabilities to utilize the vulnerabilities discovered. The candidate must be experienced in working with a dynamic team of cyber researchers and engineers through all stages of the product lifecycle – from vulnerability research to development and test. This position is contingent upon contract award.

What you’ll be doing:

• Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required. Must be U.S. Citizen.
• Lead requirements, design, introduce innovation, collaborate with the customer.
• Software development for complex solutions.
• Manage Sprints and assist with monitoring schedules/deliverables.

What does Leidos need from me?

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems or applicable engineering field and minimum ten years of experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineering.
• Minimum eight years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, and/or Python.
• Minimum five years of experience programming cyber tools and/or techniques for the US Government or commercial sector.
• Experience performing open source research & vulnerability analysis.
• Experience utilizing reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro to analyze firmware of embedded devices.
• Experience with disassembly of hardware.
• Experience using commercial off the shelf (COTS), and free open source (FOS) debugging and analyzer tools.
• Ability to analyze network traffic for vulnerabilities.
• Demonstrated experience with scripting and programming languages.
• Experience developing documentation and reports (analysis reports, test reports, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver briefings, technical presentations, and program documentation to senior program management.

Favorable if you have:

• Experience applying an Agile methodology to the development of CNO capabilities.
• Experience in protocol and signal analysis utilizing tcpdump or Wireshark.
• Familiar with Advance Networking Concepts to include one or more of the following: MPLS, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, NAT, VPN, VLAN, or VRF.
• Demonstrated experience programming techniques to evade host and/or network-based intrusion detection systems.
• Demonstrated experience developing programs to capture, analyze, and interpret raw network traffic.
• Demonstrated experience with network sockets programming including developing packet-level programs, expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols.
• Demonstrated understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols.
