We are very excited to advertise this key role in our structure. The Innovation Technician will work under the direction of the Associate Assistant Headteacher – Innovation and will play a vital role in the provision of high-quality science teaching in the school. They will maintain equipment, construct and modifying apparatus, setup experiments, take an active part in laboratory demonstrations, order resources, support in practical classes by giving technical help to pupils and ensure that the school continues to meet current health and safety standards.
Our new ‘All Age School’ will open on the existing Hawthorn footprint in September 2024. The £28 million new build and renovation of existing buildings is already progressing, and this investment will provide an excellent 21st century learning facility for 1200 pupils, and our wider community. It is an exciting and important milestone in the changes to educational provision for all learners in the wider catchment of Hawthorn and we hope that you will want to be part of our journey.
