Supporting and managing the Directorates risk management processes working alongside other Directorates and Divisions to ensure that completed incident investigations are of a high standard and are managed in a timely manner as required by the Trust. Identifying trends and working with modality teams to develop quality improvement processes to reduce risk and improve quality of care for patients. The post holder will also lead on the Directorate Audit Programme presenting this in a format that that meets QSI (Quality Standard for Imaging) standards, supporting Modality Teams with the development of KPIs (key performance indicators) to ensure that local processes are regularly audited to assess the quality of services. Working closely with the Research and Innovation (R&I) Department to assess feasibility of new trials ensuring all governance checks are complete before authorisation. To manage the research budget liaising with the Divisional Finance Department to ensure spend plans are produced and submitted in a timely manner each year.
