The Finance department has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Business Accountant to join our dynamic team.
This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in Management Accounting and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supporting workplace.
Based within the Management Accounting/Business Partnering team, you will work closely with all areas of the business to assist with helping budget holders/heads of departments achieve the force objectives.
You will be responsible for:
- Analyse monthly accounts and investigate variances, prepare reports for stakeholders explaining variances and making recommendations for resolution.
- Compile and review a financial budget for specific business areas as part of the annual budget process.
- Supporting Business Partners providing financial analysis to support recommendations.
What you will bring:
- AAT qualified or suitable experience.
- Experience of detailed and complex budget monitoring and management accounting.
- Confidence, commitment, and excellent communication skills.
