We are looking for a Business Analylst to join the team within Livity Life Ltd in a hybrid role covering our Technology Enabled
Care sites across the UK .
The Business Analyst will typically work on a number of IT and Data related assignments simultaneously; these assignments will
vary in scale, complexity & duration.
The focus of the role is to clearly elicit, define and document stakeholder requirements. This is a 'full-lifecycle' role with
possible involvement from business case development to operational review. You will work closely with the IT Development Team,
Operational Users and various Project Stakeholders.
You will also be required to produce analysis and reports to support projects and ad hoc operational requirements.
The role:
* Reviewing, analyse and understand current applications, systems, practices, procedures and habits in order to gain an
understanding of system capabilities,
* Recommendation of any identified improvements to systems and processes.
* You will define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements. Monitoring project progress by
tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions.
* Construction of technical and non-technical documentation and diagrams.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
* Present complex data in various forms to suit the audience, using graphical and other techniques to large groups to portray the
required information, offering supporting narrative as necessary.
* Communicating complex technical issues and risks to non-technical people.
* Managing sensitive negotiations around change in scope and balancing priorities with changing customer needs.
* Performing essential consulting activities in accordance with assignment objectives.
* Actively participate in the implementation of approved development changes, this will range from very small bug fixes to
complete application re-writes.
* Create informative, actionable and repeatable analysis that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for
improvement.
* Undertake activities to develop, implement, and support realistic Continual Service Improvement Plans.
* Review multiple streams of often conflicting data, identifying the anomalies to extract the valued data. The data may come from
suppliers or internally and therefore the ability to understand the relevance and criticality of it is essential.
* Create timely impact assessments relating to requests or proposed changes by analysing current and proposed processes and
capability to assess action required.
* Develop and implement processes to manage stakeholder engagement and operational effectiveness.
* Develop and deliver training on analysis methodologies, processes and toolset to other areas of the organisation on a regular
basis. Responsible for the full life-cycle of the training.
* Make use of Analysis toolsets and processes in order to effectively track and manage workloads.
What are we looking for?
* Educated to Degree level (or equivalent qualification / experience).
* Familiar with modelling and analysis tools and techniques (e.g. Enterprise Architect), methods and standards (e.g. UML,
BPMN).
* In-depth knowledge of business modelling techniques and experience in obtaining input from and communicating modelling results
to senior managers for agreement.
* Knowledge of business processes to advise database designers and other application development team members on the details of
data structures and associated components.
* Experience and knowledge in Project Management, Business change, Data Modelling and analysis.
* Able to utilise office software packages to a high level. In particular MS Word, Project and Excel. Highly organised, with the
ability to work to agreed goals, in a self-directed and professional manner.
* Demonstrable excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to negotiate successful outcomes with senior personnel.
* Highly experienced in influencing and negotiation skills including critical questioning and innovative thinking.
* Excellent facilitation skills.
* Experience of resolving conflict and problems and challenging projects.
Desired but not essential
* Working knowledge of the healthcare and social care market
* Possess (or working towards) a recognised Business Analysis professional qualification (such as BCS International Diploma in
Business Analysis).
* Understanding and knowledge of social care & health service terminology and information requirements.

* £35,000 - £45,000 per annum dependent on experience
* Monday to Friday 8:30 – 17:00,
