This role sits within our Stadia division, catering for fans and visitors at prestigious stadiums across the UK. With matchdays, concerts, conferences, and banquets to be catered for, our specialist teams are experts in adapting to our client's needs with locally sourced seasonal menu's. At the heart of the matchday experience, we bring choice, quality, and value for money to some of the most prestigious sports venues across the UK.
What you'll be doing...
As an Events Manager you will develop events from proposal right up to delivery, including set, communicate and maintain project timelines and priorities as well as responding appropriately to incoming enquiries via phone and email and chasing to a conclusion.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting site show rounds
- Liaise with external suppliers, prepare quotes, contracts and event proposals for events of all types, including internal and external
- Produce event detailed planners (including catering, cost, invoicing details, itinerary, room set up, entertainment, AV etc.)
Actively identify sales opportunities - Proactively manage the annual site conference and event sales budget and business plan, meets and achieve challenging sales targets and exceed industry standards.
- Ensures offers and initiatives are implemented to deliver growth, profitability and continuous improvement through all channels.
- Leads in the creation of the conference and event business plan
- Display solid knowledge of the conference and event industry and produce and shares industry intelligence as required to influence and develop the strategic direction of the offer.
- Think creatively and generate new ideas, to grow the business and enhance revenue and profitability for the unit in future years.
- Analyse conversion of business to quickly identify growth/loss, implement actions where necessary.
Working Pattern: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (with some requirements to work outside of this)
